Teaching aims:
1. Revise the names of clothes by showing word cards.
2. Revise some adjectives about colors by playing the game “Bingo” and learn to describe the clothes with the demonstrative pronouns together.
3. Summarize and ask and answer the sentence patterns about the price of different colors and different kinds of clothes in pairs or groups. (1) – How much is…? – It’s…. (2) –How much are…? -- They’re….
4. Learn to go shopping in English and get great fun from learning English.

Teaching steps:
Step 1: Warming-up
The teacher divides the students into 8 groups, and each group chooses one color they like, put a card that has a kind of color on the desk at the same time and say “ We are red/ green/ purple…” then each student in each group speaks his own number out one by one.
Step 2: Play a game “Bingo”
The teacher gives out a piece of paper to each student like this:
After each student fills in the box with 8 given color words and another word according to them, the teacher reads 3 color words, the students connect them one another in a line together, if it is a straight line, he or she will say “Bingo”, that is to say, his group will be rewarded. This game is played 4-5 times. Whoever is wrong, he or she will read 10 important words about clothes once. Step 3: Fill in the chart
The teacher asks “ Who has a red card?” the students put up the cards and say “I have a red card.” Then the teacher ask them some questions. For example: What is it/ are they? What color is it/ are they? How much is it/ are they? and so on. In this way, the students can say out some sentences like: I have a card. It is red. It is a red bag. It is $8. The red bag is $8 and others( pay attention to plural nouns)

Step 4 Finish 3b.
Look at the pictures and write the questions and answers. Step 5 Practice going shopping
The students practice asking and answering the price of different colors and kinds of clothes over and over again according to the situation . There is a salesperson and others are customers. Step 6 Watch and think
Show some pictures about poor children. Ask students should save money, don’t waste money. We should buy the right things, not the expensive things. Step 7 Summary
