Teaching aims and language points:
1. Learn these words and be able to say, read, and write these words:

2. Learn these words and be able to say and read these words: clothes, store, price, sale
3. Be able to ask about prices and talk about clothing: How much is this T-shirt? It’s seven dollars. How much are these socks? They’re two dollars. I like this big purple hat.

Teaching steps:
1. Warm-up and revision (課堂熱身和復習) (1) Daily greeting to the students(日常問候) (2) Revision(復習): Revise the words of clothes. Listen to and sing the song How much is that box?. Get the Ss to revise how to ask about prices.
Look at the boy in the picture and tell what is he wearing.Get the Ss to revise words of clothes.
Pair: Work with your partner and ask and answer questions about the pictures. 2. Presentation (呈現新知識)
(1) Revise the words of colors by playing a guessing game. The students who stands up first and says out the right word can get one point.
(2) Watch the video and try to write down the clothes and colors. Such as: a pink shirt. Then check the answers. 3. Listening
(1) T: Now, look at the picture and answer:
T:What is it? S:It’s a hat.
2. 通過搶答復習表示顏色的單詞,調動學生的積極性;通過視頻,將表示顏色與衣服的單詞聯系起來,出示目標短語,同時培養學生的觀察力和拼讀單詞的能力。
教學設計說明
1. 通過聽歌看歌詞復習已學過的詢問物品價錢的句式,通過圖片生動形象復習表示衣服的名詞。為下一步談論衣物做準備。
T: What color is it? S: It’s red. T: It’s a big red hat. T:What is it? S:It’s a T-shirt. T: What color is it? S: It’s blue.
T: It’s a long blue T-shirt.
(2) Listen to the conversation and circle the things you hear.
Pay attention to the colors. Check the answers like this: the big purple hat, the brown sweater, those red shorts, those long blue and yellow socks...
(3) Listen again and fill in the price tags. Pay attention to the
numbers. Check the answers like this:five dollars, eight dollars...
4. Pairwork (兩人對話) (1)Look at the picture and say:
A: I like this big purple hat. How much is it? B: It’s five dollars.
A: I like these red shorts. How much are they? B: They’re six dollars. (2)Pairwork
Let the Ss make their conversations in pairs like the sample. Ask some pairs to present their conversation to the class. 5. Work on 2e.
(1) Listen to the dialogue in 2e and fill in the blanks. (2) Check the answers.
(3)Explain the language points to the students.
6. Groupwork. (小組活動)
Design your own clothes store and try to sell your clothes. You may have a conversation like this: Clerk: Can I help you?
Mary: Yes, please. I want/need a _______. Clerk: What _____ do you want? Mary: Blue.
Clerk: How about this one?
4.出示練習句型結構,結合圖片,學生能模仿例子很容易地進行類似的對話。要讓學生們注意什么時候用單數,什么時候用復數。幫組學生更好地練習與掌握句型。
3.聽力練習前先描述圖片中的物
品,既可以充分地發揮圖片的作
用,增加學生的口頭練習量,又可為聽力做準備,使學生可更好地完成聽力練習。聽中注意聽力策略,通過聽力訓練,進一步熟悉目標語言。
5. 讓學生們以4-6人小組為單位,課前設計出商店模型,課上完善商店服飾,并模擬商店中顧客與售貨員的對話,詢問商品價格。
