一、學情分析
本課時是一節聽說課,內容難度不大。在學習本課之前，學生須掌握best, most creative, funniest, most quietest, most serious, loudest 等詞匯。對于基礎薄弱的學生，還需要在課前對這些詞進行復習回顧，為本節課做好準備。此外，八年級的學生學習任務較重，因此也需要教師在課堂上運用生動活潑、形式多樣的教學手段來激發他們學習的熱情和積極性。
二、教材分析 本課時是八年級Unit 4 Section B的一節聽說課。1a-1b要求學生通過反義詞對比和造句練習學習更多的形容詞,如:loudest, quietest, most boring, most creative,largest等.1a中形容詞正好是后面1c-1d的聽力材料的詞匯儲備.1c-1d以學校才藝表演為話題展開聽力練習,所聽對話自然地運用了形容詞的最高級形式,要求學生根據聽力信息進行回答,是對聽力材料的信息轉述,談論的焦點是學校才藝表演中最...的人.

五、教學學法設計 通過游戲speak out the opposites, 來復習一些形容詞的最高級形式,
比如: loudest, most creative, most serious 等,對聽力活動做熱身,通過猜人游戲,練習學生的口頭表達。最后通過find out the talented students和Who is my idol兩項活動：找出班里的最有才的學生，誰是你的偶像，再次練習形容詞的最高級，練習口語，提高學生的自信心!

從說反義詞導入, 復習形容詞和副詞的最高級, 提前對聽力進行熱身, 最后通過猜測他是誰,找出班里最有才華的學生 發現自己的偶像，把課堂氣氛推向高潮.
