我們在第三單元學習了形容詞比較級的構成，本單元進行復習并學習它的最高級構成。
本單元的課時教學內容選擇貼近學生生活的題材，如對clothes stores、restaurants and supermarkets進行評價，目的是練習最高級的使用，并引發學生在完成任務的過程中,運用所學知識進行英語交流,培養他們運用英語解決實際問題的能力同時了解他人的喜好，樹立正確的消費觀念，樹立正確的人生價值觀。本節課是這單元的第二課時，繼第一課時的學習之后，學生對于劇院、電影院的設施條件已經有了用最高級進行評價的意識，這節課重點是對上一課時的內容進行操練和鞏固，進而引導學生能夠很好的利用最高級來描述人物或事物。2 學情分析
學生在第三單元已經對形容詞比較級有所掌握，在這個基礎上更有利于學生學習形容詞最高級；同時八年級學生有一定的詞句語法積累，便于教師開展活動；但學生英語學習興趣較難提高，因此教師要設置學生感興趣的話題與活動充分調動學生積極性。 教學目標
語言知識目標：
1) 學習掌握下列詞匯：worse, service, pretty, menu, act ； 2）進行一步復習鞏固學習Section A 部分所學的生詞和詞組。
3）對形容詞及副詞的最高級形式的構成進行總結，掌握其構成規則。 4) 總結用形容詞及形容詞的最高級形式來描述人物或事物的句型結構。 過程與方法:
1、通過大量的口語練習提高自己的英語表達能力。 2、通過與他人合作培養自己的合作精神。 情感態度與價值觀目標：
1、了解一些最出色的人或物，知道生活中有很多值得我們去學習的東西。 2、通過最高級的運用，呼吁學生熱愛家鄉十堰。
