I.The analysis of status and function(教學內容分析)
It is the last period of unit 4,Grade 8 of Go for it. The language goal is to review the superlative forms of adjectives and adverbs. Students should know how to use superlatives to talk about their hometown and write. After studying target language, students are required to know the rules of superlatives and know how to write by using superlative degree.(本課時是人教版第四單元的最后一課時復習與寫作,本單元要求學生復習形容詞或副詞的最高級用法。在復習語法并進行聽說訓練后,學生要能掌握最高級的用法和變化規則并進行寫作輸出。)
II. The analysis of the students(學情分析)
The students from Grade 8 have learnt English and have been trained English skills for more than one year, but most of them are afraid of the grammar. This theme of this lesson is about “Amazing China”, which is one of the popular topics recently, so it’s a great opportunity for them to practice speaking or writing because they are interested in them and have something to say and write. This class I’ll guide them to review the grammar step by step so that they will feel grammar is not that difficult as they imagine. I’ll attract them to join in the listening and speaking practice, then guide them to try to finish the writing practice after that.(八年級的學生已經學習了英語,他們訓練英語的學習技能有一年了,但大部分學生還是害怕語法。這節課的主題圍繞“厲害了,我的國”這個當今的流行話題,因此這是一次很好的機會來練習語法,因為學生會很感興趣且有內容說和寫。在這節課我會帶領他們復習最高級,并讓他們感覺語法并不是他們想象中那么難。因此我會吸引他們加入到課堂的聽說活動中,之后引導他們進行寫作的訓練。)

VII. Teaching Procedure(教學步驟) Step1: Let’s warm up! -----A quiz(知識競答)
To begin with, I’ll let students play an interesting game. It’s a quiz about some geographic knowledge and some great achievements of China. Students need to answer the questions as fast as they can. And they can get a clue as the award. The more clues they get, the closer they’ll get to the answer to the puzzle. The winner group who get the answer can get the award. This game and the competition among the groups can arouse students’ interest. (該堂課是通過一個知識競答來導入課堂,知識競答是關于我國的一些地理常識以及我們國家的一些最新成就。學生需要搶答并得到裝有線索的信封。小組得到的線索越多,越接近最后謎題的答案。而得到答案的小組可
以得到最后的獎勵。這個知識搶答以及小組競爭的游戲極大地調動了學生的積極性,學生起立搶答激發出了學生的學習熱情和激情,使學生進入了良好的心理準備狀態,為他們能全神貫注的開展后面的學習打下了基礎。
Step2: Let’s review!-----Superlative(復習最高級)
Review the superlatives by talking about the sentences from the quiz. The sentences become more and more difficult and students need to finish the sentences by using the superlatives.(這一環節再次利用知識競答中的句子進行練習,句子由易到難,由學生利用最高級來談論圖片。)
4) Let students play a game to find out the irregular words. (用一個兩人PK的小游戲(尋找不
規則變化的詞)來復習鞏固不規則變化的的詞.)
在總結復習語法的部分,充分遵循以學生為主體,以教師為主導的教學理念,讓學生在微課、思維導圖、交互式游戲等各種豐富的活動中不斷鞏固本節課的重點。
Step4:Let’s listen!----Amazing City! (聽說練習)
In this step, students have known the great achievements in our country and let students listen to a passage and finish the tasks. After listening, students will watch the video about amazing cit, and talk about the places and things in the video.(在總結歸納復習完最高級語法后,學生開始進行聽 說訓練,為后面能順利寫作做好鋪墊。該聽力為我們家鄉十堰的一段介紹。聽力要求學生聽 出所談論的城市并記下文中出現的最高級。聽完后讓學生總結了所聽到的內容為十堰的名片 “仙山秀水汽車城”并將聽力文稿中所聽到的最高級寫出來。接下來再次以視頻的形式直觀 地展示十堰,并要求學生談論視頻里出現的十堰一些著名的地點或事物,為后面小組活動做 好準備。)
Step5:Let’s work in group.
Students work in groups to talk about the best places or things in our city. Group members need to roll the dice and use the superlative degree of the word on the dice.
小組談論家鄉十堰最好的地方或者東西。要求小組內每人扔一次骰子(骰子上是形容詞或副詞原級),并用骰子上的單詞的最高級來談論這個話題。該活動旨在動員學生人人都參與口語表達的活動中。
Step6:let’s guess!---answer to the puzzle.
After practicing the grammar, it’s time to discuss the answer to the puzzle.統計各組獲得的線索,此時小組可以打開信封,小組一起討論謎題的答案(答案為北京)。小組組長運用希沃授課助手和平板進行搶答(6個小組長在平板上按下數字自己代表的數字,排在第一位的數字即得到回答的機會),回答正確的小組獲勝。讓學生讀出所得到的線索,并說出為什么你認為答案是北京。其中還有圖片線索,讓學生完成拼圖得到完整圖片為長城,也和本課開端的知識競答相呼應。最后老師引導學生總結談論北京的思路,并整合成思維導圖,即我們可以從歷史、景點、人口、大學、食物、天氣、交通、藝術形式、建筑等方面來談論北京,為后面能順利進行寫作打好基礎。 Step7:Let’s write!
After the discussion of Beijing, it’s time to write Beijing by using the mind map. 北京即將舉辦冬奧會,寫一封邀請函邀請全世界人民來北京。最后學生寫作在前面聽說訓練以及寫作思路的準備工作后,學生可以很順利的使用最高級進行寫作輸出。寫作后,展示兩名學生的文章并做以點評,標記出里面的優秀句子供學生學習。
Step8: Let’s enjoy!
A sample is given to students and let students read it with full of feelings.最后給學生一篇范文供學生欣賞學習,幫助學生提升寫作水平。寫作后,學生欣賞一段厲害了我的國的一段快閃視頻,將愛祖國愛家鄉的情感再次升華,讓學生帶著民族自豪感和民族自信心,大聲的朗讀出“We’re Chinese, we’re proud, we have confidence in culture, we have confidence in China.”
Step9 Homework (作業)
Write an introduction about our hometown—Shiyan. 在學會了使用最高級描述某個城市的寫作技巧后,學會進行遷移,來寫一篇關于自己家鄉的介紹。 VIII. Blackboard Design(板書設計)
