The Runaway Bunny

Once there was a little bunny. He said to his mother, “I am running away.””If you run away,”said his mother,”I will run after you. For you are my little bunny.”
“If you run after me,”said the little bunny, “I will become a fish in a trout stream and I will swim away from you.””If you become a fish in a trout stream,”said his mother, “I will become a fisherman and I will fish for you.”
“If you become a fisherman,” said the little bunny, “I will become a rock on the mountain, high above you.” “If you become a rock on the mountain high above me,”said his mother, “I will be a mountain climber, and I will climb to where you are.”
“If you become a mountain climber,” said the little bunny, “I will be a bird and fly away from you.” “If you become a bird and fly away from me,” said his mother, “I will be a tree that you come home to.”
“If you become a tree,”said the little bunny, “I will become a little sailboat, and I will sail away from you.””
If you become a sailboat and sail away from me,”said his mother, “I will become the wind and blow you where I want you to go.”
“If you become the wind and blow me,”said the little bunny, “I will become a little boy and run into a house.””If you become a little boy and run into a house,”said the mother bunny, “I will become your mother and hug you.”
“Shucks,”said the bunny, “I might just as well stay where I am and be your little bunny.”And so he did. “Have a carrot,”said the mother bunny.
教學(xué)背景：
本課時(shí)的教學(xué)內(nèi)容是基于小學(xué)英語(yǔ)人教版三年級(jí)起點(diǎn)第五冊(cè)三單元和四單元的拓展內(nèi)容。在這兩個(gè)單元的對(duì)話教學(xué)中出現(xiàn)了句型Why? Because…以及What will you do? I will…而本課所選擇的
繪本The Runaway Bunny主要的句型就是If you …, I will…，
并且最后的活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)中，學(xué)生要把I will…Because…這兩個(gè)句型運(yùn)用到一起，真正實(shí)現(xiàn)通過(guò)繪本學(xué)習(xí)來(lái)鞏固知識(shí)，拓展知識(shí)，從而提高學(xué)習(xí)興趣。
一， 教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1.語(yǔ)言知識(shí)技能目標(biāo)：能誦讀故事中自己感興趣的段落;能理解句型If ..., I will....;能用because…來(lái)表達(dá)自己選擇的原因。
2.學(xué)習(xí)策略目標(biāo)：能理解故事；進(jìn)而培養(yǎng)正確的人生觀與價(jià)值觀。
3.情感價(jià)值目標(biāo)：感受故事中母親的愛(ài)，知道“家”永遠(yuǎn)是最溫暖的地方; 通過(guò)活動(dòng)中的思維碰撞，建立正確的人生觀與價(jià)值觀；培養(yǎng)閱讀興趣，養(yǎng)成愛(ài)閱讀的好習(xí)慣。
二， 教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn)
1.教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：有感情的誦讀故事
2.教學(xué)難點(diǎn)：用句型I will…Because…表達(dá)個(gè)人意愿 三，教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備
多媒體課件；繪本；路線圖片；磁釘若干；小組活動(dòng)資料(便利貼，文具) ；stay 和leave兩張大海報(bào)；獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)貼畫胡蘿卜
單詞卡片：fisherman, mountain climber, sailboat（備用
三， 教學(xué)過(guò)程
Step 1. Warmer.
1. Greeting.
2. Let students know how to get carrots. T:Do you remember this story? Who are they?
What would bunny like to eat? You can get carrots from Ms Jing.（提出獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)是carrot）Let’s see how many carrots can we get today.If you get a carrot, I will stick it in the circle.
3. Study the cover of this story. Step 2. Presentation
1.Show question and watch video of the story. Question：What does bunny or mum become? 2. Group work: Exchange your ideas.
3.Answer question and teacher writes on the board.
Try to fill in the blank.板書句型If you…I will…用小圖幫助人物理解
4. Use pictures to complete the blank. Stick pictures beside the blank.
5. T:Are there any questions? You can ask me. 師可以用難點(diǎn)單詞卡片檢查一下孩子是否會(huì)讀。 6.Find which picture they like best.
(把圖片移到路線)生結(jié)合圖形，用這個(gè)句型選擇自己喜歡的圖來(lái)復(fù)述
7.Practise.師生互動(dòng)，示范讀故事(師~~生，生~~生) 8.Group work: choose 2~3 and take an emotional reading. 9.Show.
Step 3. Activity
1. T:We have known that little bunny wants to runaway from his mum,now Ms Jing wants to know if you grow up, what will you do? Stay or leave your families?（PPT用圖形讓生感知grow up）
Ss: I will…(師板書有特色的原因，把板書改成If I grow up,I will…
2. Group work: Listen to your heart and write your opinion on the paper.(每個(gè)學(xué)生一張便利貼，寫下自己的選擇及原因，然后走上講臺(tái)貼在海報(bào)上，師請(qǐng)部分孩子說(shuō)出他們的選擇） 3. Show.
Step 4. Consolidation: 1. Watch video.
T:Now, you choose stay or leave,but maybe it will change when you really grow up. Maybe you miss your mother and father,maybe they are ill and need you…Anyway, home is sweet and warm forever. Ms Jing will share a video with you today.
2. Make the house to be LOVE.
T: Home is always full of love. I believe that where the parents are, where the home is. Please remember: wherever you are, whatever you do, mum will always be with you and love you. Step 5. Homework 1. Retell the story.
2. Say i love you and give your mum and dad a hug.
