學情分析
五年級學生已經有一定的英語基礎,擁有基本的詞匯與句型,大部分學生學習態度和學習習慣較好,愿意開口去說,并且敢于說。但有少數學生,接受新知的能力較弱,對英語學習失去信心,導致他們不愿參與到活動中來。本節課設計一些他們能力范圍內的活動,讓他們也參與其中。
2重點難點
引導學生圍繞“When is...birthday?It's on... What will you do for your.... I will....為中心內容”談論自己及家人的生日,大膽去說英語。

3.1第一學時
3.1.1教學目標
1.knowledge aim
Master the words"twelfth,twentieth..."and the sentences pattern "When is ...birthday?It's on...".
2.Ability aim
Be able to use the sentences to ask and answer, and say something about birthday.
3.Emotional aim
Remember your family's birthday and do something for them.

What will you do for your...? I will..." have to say.

活動1【導入】Warming up
1.Greeting and free talk.
2.Review:
1)Listen and answer.
T: Whose birthday are they?(Ask Ss try to say)
2)T:When is Grandpa's birthday?
Ss:It's on...
(Use the same way to ask the others birthday:Grandma's ,Grandpa's,Dad's,Mum's,Wu Yifan's birthday.)
3)Play a game:Yes,Yes,Yes or NO,No,No
T:Do you rember these birthday?Lead to Role-play.

1.Role-play
1)T gives an example.
2)Ask Ss use"When is your birthday?My birthday..."act the Robin,Grandpa...
2.Group work.
T:Look!What's this?It's my calendar.Take out your calendar.,then ask and answer one by one.

S2:My birthday is on...When is your birthday?

3.Read and say.
T:When is my birthday?Can you guess?
Ss:It's on...
T shows some students' birthday,then ask.
T:Whose birthday is it?
S1:It;s my birthday.
T:Please read it. When is your birthday?

4.Pair work.
T:We can share cakes with others.I know your birthday,but I don't know family's birthday.And What will you do for your family's
birthday?
1)T gives an example.
2)Ask and answer with their parter.
5.Let's talk about our family's birthday.

2).Ask some students try to say.
6.Enjoy a video.
T shows a MV(爸爸去哪兒),students follow it.
T:Who are they?

T:Yes,they love their father very much.They do many things for their father on their father's birthday.
活動3【作業】Summary and homework.
T:We should remember our family's birthday and do something for them.
Homework:
1.Copy the new words(one word four times).
2.Recite the new words, next time we ‘ ll have a dictation.
3.Remember our family's birthday and do something for them.
