教學(xué)目標(biāo)（Teaching aims）: 知識目標(biāo)
1. 學(xué)生能夠在圖片的幫助下理解故事內(nèi)容，復(fù)習(xí)鞏固本單元重點語言。
2. 能夠朗讀故事，能夠在教師的幫助下表演故事。 3. 教育學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)過程中要不懈努力不要放棄，熟能生巧（Practice makes perfect）。 能力目標(biāo)
1. 提高學(xué)生綜合運用英語知識的能力。 2. 提高學(xué)生任務(wù)閱讀能力。 情感目標(biāo)
1.在故事語境中，通過Zoom 專心刻苦練習(xí)并最終在不擅長的唱歌考試中得到音樂老師稱贊的經(jīng)歷，讓學(xué)生了解英語諺語“Practice makes perfect.”的深刻含義。 2.在母親節(jié)來臨之際讓學(xué)生學(xué)會感恩母親。 學(xué)情分析（Learning situation analysis）
對于小學(xué)五年級學(xué)生來說，他們已經(jīng)有了一定的英語基礎(chǔ)，經(jīng)過一二年級的攀登英語的學(xué)習(xí)，三四年級的學(xué)習(xí)，大多數(shù)學(xué)生有一定的英語語言接受和表達能力，詞匯量有一定的儲備，能進
行簡單的口語交流，對教師的課堂指令和體態(tài)語言己有相當(dāng)好的反應(yīng)。學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣較濃，積極性較高，但也有少數(shù)學(xué)生對語言的認知能力不強，缺乏一定的學(xué)習(xí)能力，反應(yīng)較遲緩有待進一步提高。
教學(xué)重點(Important point）: 1. 能讀懂“Story time”部分的內(nèi)容。 2. 完成設(shè)置的問題，并有感情的表演故事。 教學(xué)難點(Key point）:
學(xué)生英語聽、說、讀、寫各項語言綜合運用能力的提高。 教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備(Teaching prepare）: PPT、headwear.

【設(shè)計意圖】歌曲引趣，激發(fā)學(xué)生對本堂課的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。 二．Review
1.Review holidays and dates in English. 三．Lead in

T:Zoom has a singing test on May fourth ,too. what will he do in this week? Can he pass the test? Do you want to know ? Ok,today we will learn a story –Zoom’s singing test . 四．Presentation 1.
(1) 教師設(shè)置關(guān)于第一幅圖的問題，讓學(xué)生帶著問題觀看視頻聽錄音然后回答問題。 1.Watch and choose:
The singing test will be on ______. A. April 30th B. May 4th 2． Can Zoom sing well?
(2)設(shè)置第二至四幅圖片的問題，讓學(xué)生帶著問題觀看視頻。完成圖片所對應(yīng)的問題和任務(wù)。 Let’s match
May 1st Cat play football May 2nd Zip watch TV May 3rd Rabbit come to the party (3)出示圖片第五和第六，設(shè)置問題, 讓學(xué)生帶著問題觀看視頻。 1.Does Zoom pass the test?

(4)Watch the the video once again and answer the questions . 1.The meaning of practice is ______.

【設(shè)計意圖】創(chuàng)設(shè)真實的語境，讓學(xué)生真正明白Practice makes perfect的道理真正運用到實際學(xué)習(xí)生活當(dāng)中。 五．Practice
1.Read the story emotionally follow the video. 2.Group work-act the story in role.
【設(shè)計意圖】 讓學(xué)生模仿視頻中的語音、語調(diào)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語感。表演是學(xué)生最喜歡的環(huán)節(jié)，也是最能檢驗學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)效果的方法。 六． Consolidation & Extension 1.A story of Don’Give Up. 2.Read with questions.
3.Design a card for your mother and write some sentences that what you have learned at last stick your cards on the black board .
【設(shè)計意圖】通過故事教學(xué)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的對母親的感恩。 七． Homework
1. Remember “Practice makes perfect” and do it in our studying.
2. Read the story for your parents . 3.Try to retell the story in English.
