教學目標
1、知識目標:
(1)使學生能正確認讀單詞: blind, deaf, hear, a lot, useful, fire, firefighter
(2)使學生能靈活運用句型:He/She/ can/can’t… 以及Can we have a dog?---- No ,we can’t . / Yes ,we can .
2、能力目標:
使學生能正確運用can和can’t表達人們能做和不能做的事情。
3、情感目標:
使學生認識到保護動物重要性。培養學生互相關心、互相幫助良好品質。
2學情分析
本節課是新標準英語五年級上冊Module7unit1He can`t see.本單元主要是繼續學習情態動詞can.以及用can`t 談論能力的不足。五年級學生基礎較好。他們已掌握了一定的語音、詞匯、語法、話題表達等英語基礎知識,具備了一定的聽、說、讀、寫能力,形成了一定的綜合語言運用能力。因此,教學中,應從學生已有的知識、能力、經驗和興趣出發,根據教學內容,采用靈活的教學方法,精心設計有一定挑戰性的教學活動,促使學生在參與、實踐、體驗、合作與交流活動中學習、運用并掌握知識,進一步發展綜合語言運用能力,穩定英語學習興趣。

正確運用can和can’t表達人們能做和不能做的事情

4.1.1教學活動
活動1【導入】Step 1: Warming up (課前熱身)
1.Greeting.
2.全體學生起立,邊做動作邊說關于can的chant. (設計意圖:學生共同參與復習chant,讓學生在輕松的環境中復習舊知,引新知。從而為第二個環節做鋪墊。)
I can run, run, run, run.
I can walk, walk, walk, walk.
I can swim, swim, swim, swim.
I can see, see, see, see.
活動2【導入】Step 2:Review
Ask & answer:
T: What can they do? (PPT圖片)(設計意圖:用多種動物會的技能讓學生初步感知新詞匯a lot)
Ss: …
T: How about dogs? Let’s see together. (課本38頁活動1的Chant.)
(1)Listen and look.(師生觀看光盤動畫)
T:What do the dogs like?
Ss:They are clever,cute,useful,cool.
T:They can do a lot.(用單詞卡片教授新單詞a lot)And they’re very useful.(教授新單詞useful)
(2)Listen and chant. (課本38頁)(再次播放光盤視頻,師生同唱。)
T:Do you like dogs? Let’s learn more about the dogs. lf you do a good job, l will give these to you.(展示英語小貼紙)
(設計意圖:在有了前面的層層鋪墊,學生通過chant,猜測游戲,視頻觀看以及新課文的chant的參與學習,充分調動了學生的積極性和濃厚的學習興趣,再展示了英語小貼紙后,更能激發學生后面的學習動力。)
活動3【講授】Step 3:Text learning
1. T: First, look and listen,then answer..(播放視頻光盤)(設計意圖:聽課文,整體感知課文,同時借助圖片和單詞卡片加深理解。)

(用PPT圖片教授新單詞a TV show,presenter)
T: Q: What does the presenter say?
Ss: Dogs are very useful.
2. T: listen again and answer my question: Why are they useful?
(打開書39頁,拿出筆,邊聽邊劃出答案。)
(設計意圖:學生通過探究與自悟,交流與合作等學習方式,再次的理解課文語境。學習本單元的目標語句。)
(1)教師拿出第一幅掛圖,問:Why are they useful? 引導學生說。This man is blind. He can`t see. This dog helps him.并教授新單詞blind.(課件出示單詞。滲透語音教學,ind, find, kind, blind).并板書句型He is blind. He can`t see.
(2)老師再拿出掛圖,問:Why are they useful? 引導學生說。This girl is deaf. She can`t hear. This dog helps her.教師通過拍掌大小聲問學生,Can you hear?拍掌聲音從聽不到到聽得到。
T:Just now ,you used your ears to hear.(課件出示ear---hear的變化.)(設計意圖:讓學生結合前后語境,培養學生用英語思維的能力,并從單詞的音,義,形入手,通過以舊詞帶新詞的方式,讓學生自己感知,體會,總結發音規律,形成學習策略。)
T:(老師在播放一個門鈴的聲音)Listen, can you hear?
Yes, you can hear. But this girl can`t hear. Because she is deaf.(用單詞卡片教授新單詞deaf)請個別學生描述圖片2,教師板書句型She is deaf, she can`t hear.
(3)教師拿出掛圖3,再問Why are they useful?(同桌討論一下。)教授新單詞fire ,firefighter(s).請學生讀此段。
T: Dogs are very useful. Can we have the dogs?
Ss: Yes, we can.
T: What does Sam ask? Ss: Can we have a dog, Mum? (板書句型)
T: What does Ms Smart answer?
Ss: No, we can`t. I’m sorry.(板書句型)
T: It`s a pity. We can`t. Here is your dinner, hot dogs.(設計意圖:教師通過這種對話的方式讓學生輕松的感知課文內容,又對本節課的重點句型進行了潤物細無聲的練習。)
T:Is it a dog? It`s a hot dog(教授新單詞hot dog.課件出示圖片)
T: Can we have hot dogs?
Ss: Yes, we can.
T: What are they?
They are bread and sausages.(教授新單詞sausage)
T: It`s delicious. But now we should have our class.
3. T: listen, read the text.(跟讀,自己讀,集體展示,分角色5人Amy, Lingling, presenter, Sam, Ms Smart)
(設計意圖:通過組織多種形式的閱讀方式,鼓勵學生通過觀察,模仿,體驗,探究,展示等方式學習和運用英語,引導他們學會自主學習和合作學習。有利于逐步提高學生的基本語言素養和基本外語學習能力,并形成有效的學習策略。)
活動4【練習】Step4:鞏固練習
T:You can read the text very well. Can you do the exercises very well?
教師打開PPT圖片,完成看圖填空練習。(設計意圖:通過練習,學生能更好的鞏固課文。)
活動5【練習】Step5:拓展練習。
