教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1. 知識(shí)目標(biāo): 對(duì)新單詞race, nothing, cheetah以及動(dòng)詞過去式thought、felt、woke、trip的認(rèn)讀與理解。學(xué)生能在教師的引導(dǎo)下,聽懂、理解、會(huì)讀文本內(nèi)容,并能完成課后閱讀練習(xí)。
2. 能力目標(biāo): 了解一般過去式的基本構(gòu)成,并能在情景中恰當(dāng)運(yùn)用句型以及相關(guān)詞匯進(jìn)行表達(dá)與運(yùn)用。能結(jié)合生活實(shí)際,模仿課文文本,寫一篇關(guān)于自己的夢(mèng)的小語篇。
3. 情感態(tài)度、文化意識(shí)、學(xué)習(xí)策略目標(biāo): 通過Wu Yifan夢(mèng)境中兩次賽跑故事的學(xué)習(xí),激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)英語的熱情與興趣,并培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛生活的優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)。鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生將自己的快樂或煩惱與父母分享。能夠在語篇中捕捉不同類型的信息,提煉文章的主旨大意,并進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的推理。
2學(xué)情分析
本課內(nèi)容選自第八冊(cè)第四單元B部分Read and write,為此單元第五課時(shí),是一節(jié)典型的讀寫課。單元話題圍繞Then and now對(duì)比展開,學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)人物今昔變化的語句。本課主要圍繞Wu Yifan有趣的夢(mèng)的故事進(jìn)行系列讀寫訓(xùn)練,并感受故事閱讀的快樂。
六年級(jí)學(xué)生已具備一定的詞匯和語言基礎(chǔ),具有較強(qiáng)的模仿能力,能夠通過聽或讀獨(dú)立搜索語篇中的關(guān)鍵信息,且具備較為完整的英語語言組織能力,能夠在教師指導(dǎo)下模仿篇章進(jìn)行寫作。學(xué)生通過六下第二、第三單元的學(xué)習(xí),已對(duì)過去時(shí)的使用有初步的了解,能夠在固定語境下使用過去時(shí)描述事件。對(duì)有趣的情境和活潑的課堂活動(dòng)有較強(qiáng)積極性。
3重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)
1. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):學(xué)生能在教師的引導(dǎo)下,聽懂、理解、會(huì)讀文本內(nèi)容,并能完成課后閱讀練習(xí)。
2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn):對(duì)新單詞race, nothing, cheetah以及動(dòng)詞過去式thought、felt、woke、trip的認(rèn)讀與理解。并能結(jié)合自己的實(shí)際,模仿課文文本,記述一篇關(guān)于自己的一個(gè)夢(mèng)的小語篇。

活動(dòng)1【導(dǎo)入】Pre-reading
1. Greeting
How are you today?
2. Show some photos of the sports meet.
T: Can you remember something from these pictures?
(Enjoy some photos)
T: These are pictures of our sports meet last year. Did you enjoy it? That was so exciting.
① Who ran fast in our class last year?
② Who won the race last year?
T: Could you run fast? How did you feel?
T: Did you win the race? How did you feel?
---I’m sorry to hear that. But never mind. Do more exercises, I’m sure you will run fast someday.
(閱讀前,通過欣賞幾張去年學(xué)校運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)的照片為導(dǎo)入,老師和學(xué)生一起回憶去年運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)的情景,談?wù)撘幌掳嘀心奈粚W(xué)生跑的快,誰贏得了比賽等等,在輕松、生活的師生回答中進(jìn)入今天的學(xué)習(xí)主題,積極創(chuàng)設(shè)一個(gè)寬松和諧的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍,也為之后的深入閱讀做好扎實(shí)的鋪墊。)
活動(dòng)2【講授】While-reading
1. The first race
(1) Show a picture of Wu Yifan.
T: Look at our friend Wu Yifan. How did he feel?
--- He felt worried.
T: He was worried. But why was he worried? Could you take a guess?
--- Maybe he was worried because ...
(閱讀中,教師首先出示老朋友Wu Yifan的圖片,從看表情猜心情、猜原因引出閱讀文本第一段,孩子們立即被故事鮮艷、有趣、生動(dòng)的圖畫和情節(jié)所吸引,點(diǎn)燃了英語學(xué)習(xí)的熱情。)
(2) Play the video
T: It seems that everybody has good guesses. Why was he worried? Do you want to know? Let’s watch a video and find out.
(3) Make Ss listen and read along with the story. Then think about 3 questions.
Question 1 : What did he do?
Question 2 : Could he run fast?
Question 3 : What did he think?
(讓學(xué)生帶著問題細(xì)讀文本,滲透一些閱讀方法,從而進(jìn)一步理解文本內(nèi)容。)
①The 1st question: What did he do?
T: Look, this is a race. (have a race / had a race) --- Is this a race? No, it’s a match.
(race一詞通過一系列豐富的圖片來感知、理解,并與match進(jìn)行對(duì)比,讓孩子形象的對(duì)新詞進(jìn)行正確理解,使得學(xué)習(xí)變得輕松愉快。)
T: Wu Yifan had a race with whom?
T: By the way, can you see a lot of people there?
--- Yes, there were many people there. No wonder Wu Yifan was so worried, because many people were watching him.
②The 2ndquestion:Could he run fast?
T: Actually, he could not do anything to help him to run fast. So we say:
There was nothing he could do.
T: Now can you tell me together, Could he run fast? ( answer together)
③The 3rd question: What did he think?
T: Listen carefully, try to imitate.
(聽音模仿是小學(xué)生訓(xùn)練語音語調(diào)、強(qiáng)化記憶、鞏固練習(xí)的關(guān)鍵。)
(4) Make Ss listen and read “1st race” again.
(5) Make Ss discuss and retell the passage.
(教師通過板書的提示,自身的示范,幫助學(xué)生準(zhǔn)確簡(jiǎn)潔的復(fù)述第一段文本。)
2. The second race
(1) Show a picture
T: There was a second race. Ah! What was going on? Who was in the race?
(2) Play the video
T: This time, how did he feel and why? Let’s find out in the video.
(3) Ask the questions
① T: How did he feel? And why?
② T: What is a cheetah?
(4) Play the video of the whole story.
(5) Make Ss retell the 2nd race.
(出示2nd race前巧妙設(shè)置懸念,充分利用多媒體視頻、聲音、圖片等優(yōu)勢(shì),制造出乎意料的效果,巧妙的引出第二段文本,激發(fā)學(xué)生帶著超高的熱情與參與積極性進(jìn)一步學(xué)習(xí)。)
3. What happened in between?
(1) Show a new story.
T: I have got a good idea.
--- Wu Yifan had a race. In the first race, he was worried, because he could not run fast. Suddenly here came a powerful man---
Harry Potter. He said: “Drink this.” So he gave Wu Yifan some magic tea. Wu Yifan drank the tea. And suddenly he felt good. So in
the second race, he ran like a cheetah.
(2) Make Ss discuss in groups and try to make a new story.
(教師通過自己的充分想象——哈利波特的到來,創(chuàng)編一個(gè)新故事,以此銜接1st race 和2nd race。學(xué)生在老師的引導(dǎo)下,四人小組合作討論,大膽進(jìn)行新故事創(chuàng)編,課堂驚喜無限。)
(3) Play the real story
T: Look. Who is he? --- Robin. What’s in his hand?
(4) Make Ss read together
4. Make Ss enjoy the story again.
5. Show the ending.
T: Could Wu Yifan win the race at last?
(播放Wu Yifan摔倒的聲音)
T: Ahh! What happened?
--- But suddenly he tripped and fell.
Oh, Poor Wu Yifan. He tripped and fell. How did he feel right now?
T: Where was he? Actually, it was all a dream.
6. Play the whole story.
(課件以故事播放形式進(jìn)一步播放故事的有趣結(jié)尾,揭示課題:What a dream! 給課堂帶來了無限意外與喜樂,這就是故事閱讀的絕妙之處!)
活動(dòng)3【練習(xí)】Post-reading
1. Give time to fill in the blanks.
T: Wu Yifan liked the dream very much. Now he is sharing the story to his mother. Please fill in the blanks.
2. Instruct Ss to write their own stories.
T: Did you have an interesting dream? Write several sentences about it. Then tell your dream to your partner.
3. Share the dreams.
(閱讀后,通過填一填、說一說、想一想、寫一寫、議一議等練習(xí),鞏固對(duì)文本的理解,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生之間的合作能力,也提高了寫作和表達(dá)能力。)
活動(dòng)4【作業(yè)】Homework
1. Listen and read the story.
2. Tell your interesting dream to your parents.
(開放性、信息網(wǎng)絡(luò)化的回家作業(yè)設(shè)計(jì),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生養(yǎng)成課外鞏固英語的習(xí)慣,把知識(shí)延伸至生活實(shí)踐,鍛煉學(xué)生在生活中運(yùn)用語言的能力。)
