Unit 5 What does he do?
一、教學目標
(一)認知目標
1. 能夠聽、說、讀、寫主要句型:What does your father/mother/he do? He/She is a/an„并能在實際情景中熟練運用。
2. 能夠掌握二會單詞country, head teacher,理解三會句子:Do you want to be a head teacher, too? 并能在情景中正確運用。 3. 能夠獨立完成Let’s try部分的練習。
(二)能力目標
能夠靈活運用所學句型進行問答。
(三)情感目標
教育學生要積極與他人合作,運用所學英語進行交流。
二、教學重難點
(一)重點
掌握四會句型What does your father/mother/he do? He/She is a/an... 突破方法:反復朗讀,情景對話,突破重點。
(二)難點
能夠聽、說、認讀拓展句型What are you going to be? I am going to be a/an...
突破方法:小組對話、學生搭檔對話、游戲等方式,突破難點。 三、教法與學法
點撥法,引導法,情景教學法,游戲法。
四、教學準備
教師準備多媒體課件、課文情景動畫或音頻MP3另外有單詞卡片,照片,相關道具和服飾等。 五、教學過程 Step 1: Warm-up
1. 教師通過復習之前學過的有關職業的單詞,引入本課職業的主題。教師把粉筆、白大褂、棒球等一些與職業相關的道具放在桌上,讓學生輪流猜或者討論與之相關的職業名稱。教師給出答案,讓學生跟讀。 2. 教師通過“自己說命令,學生做動作”的形式復習舊單詞。如: Act like a teacher.(學生扮演老師) Act like a doctor.(學生扮演醫生) Act like a nurse.(學生扮演護士) Act like a farmer.(學生扮演農民) Act like a driver.(學生扮演司機) „
Step 2: Presentation Let’s try
教師引導學生看教材上Let’s try部分的內容,播放錄音,學生帶著問題聽錄音,選擇正確案。
①Sarah’s mother can/can’t come today. ②Her father is a doctor/teacher/taxi driver.
教師核對答案。再次播放錄音,讓學生從錄音中找出回答問題的關鍵
信息點,盡量讓學生聽出錄音原文或復述對話。 Let’s talk
1. 教師拿出比爾•蓋茨的照片說:Who is he? 引導其中的一位學生試著回答:He is Bill Gates.然后教師繼續說:I’m a teacher. What does he do? 學生說出商人時,教師板書并教讀單詞 businessman,可用拆分法教讀并理解:business-man。教師繼續問那位學生:What does he do? 引導學生回答:He is a businessman. 教師板書并教讀句型:What does he do? He is a businessman. 可采取替換重點單詞或接龍法進行操練,如:
T: What does he do?
S1: He is a businessman. What does he do? S2: He is a teacher. What does he do? S3: He is a doctor. What does he do? S4: He is a taxi driver. What does he do? S5: He is a farmer. What does he do? „
2. 教師拿出一張邁克爾•杰克遜的照片說:What does he do? 引導學生回答:He is a singer. 并繼續問:Which country is he from? 引導學生對問句的思考,引出country這個單詞,可采用拼音法教讀:coun-try,并提醒學生注意發音,也可拿出不同國家歌手的照片展示。 3. 教師詢問學生Am I your teacher or head teacher? 板書并領讀短語head teacher,通過拆分法解釋其含義。教師問學生:Do you want to be
a head teacher, too? 學生回答:Yes, I do./No, I don’t.教師拓展句型:What are you going to be?/What do you want to do/be?引導學生回答:I am going to be a/an„教師板書并教讀句型:What are you going to be?/What do you want to do/be? I am going to be a/an„以小組為單位,一問一答操練此句型,如: Gl: What are you going to be? G2: I am going to be a teacher.
也可以學生間相互詢問對方未來的職業理想。
4. 播放Let’s talk部分的錄音,學生帶著問題靜聽,畫出回答問題的關鍵信息。問題如下:What does Oliver’s father/mother do? 教師核對答案,再次播放錄音,讓學生把不懂的地畫出來。學生—邊聽一邊跟讀讀,教師講解。全班跟讀熟練后,再分組分角色朗讀。
Step 3: Practice
1. 教師帶讀單詞taxi driver, cleaner, writer, singer, dancer, football player,并把寫有職業名稱的單詞貼在黑板上。教師打亂順序讀卡片上的單詞,請一位學生上臺,讓學生按教師讀的順序擺放卡片并讀出卡片上的單詞。然后教師可以句子描述卡片上的職業,如:I’m driving a car.
2. 教師將全班分成兩大組,讓兩大組交替朗讀What
are you going
to be? What do you want to do/be? 把I’m going to be a/an„這句話寫在紙條上,讓學生在組內互傳紙條,一大組大聲詢問:Who is going to
be a/an...? 等另一大組回答后,再問:What does your father/mother do?
Step 4: Consolidation and extension
1. 讓學生把Let’s talk部分的內容讀給家長或朋友聽。 2. 教師示范書寫四會句子,學生仿寫。
3. 學生與家長練習重點句型What does your father/mother/he do? He/She is a/an...
4. 做活動手冊上的配套練習。
