1、課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)（考綱）相關(guān)要求 
英語(yǔ)課程內(nèi)容是發(fā)展學(xué)生英語(yǔ)學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)的基礎(chǔ)，包含六個(gè)要素：主題語(yǔ)境、語(yǔ)篇類(lèi)型、語(yǔ)言知識(shí)、文化知識(shí)、語(yǔ)言技能和學(xué)習(xí)策略。其中，主題語(yǔ)境涵蓋人與自我、人與社會(huì)和人與自然，涉及人文社會(huì)科學(xué)和自然科學(xué)領(lǐng)域等內(nèi)容。語(yǔ)篇類(lèi)型包括口頭和書(shū)面語(yǔ)篇以及不同的文體形式，如記敘文、說(shuō)明文議論文等。 2、教材分析 
   本單元的中心話(huà)題是“天文學(xué)”，內(nèi)容涉及太陽(yáng)系、地球上生命的起源、宇宙大爆炸、月球探秘、黑洞效應(yīng)等。Reading部分題材是說(shuō)明文，主要內(nèi)容是圍繞地球上生命的起源展開(kāi)的，是本單元的亮點(diǎn)，講述了地球上生命的起源和生物進(jìn)化的過(guò)程。 3、學(xué)情分析 
    這個(gè)單元由于涉及到天文學(xué)知識(shí)，文科班學(xué)生們可能對(duì)宇宙形成、地球演變、生物進(jìn)化等方面的知識(shí)有部分了解，但是學(xué)生們可能對(duì)這方面的詞匯不是很熟悉，有可能造成討論和閱讀障礙。 學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo) 
1、了解地球上生命的起源和進(jìn)化過(guò)程； 2、訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的快讀、尋讀、精讀等閱讀技巧； 
3、激發(fā)學(xué)生從英語(yǔ)角度對(duì)天文學(xué)知識(shí)的興趣，培養(yǎng)其科學(xué)探索精神； 4、培養(yǎng)學(xué)生愛(ài)護(hù)環(huán)境、保護(hù)地球的強(qiáng)烈意識(shí)。
