【設(shè)計(jì)背景】 
1. 主題語境：人與自然——人與植物、人與環(huán)境 
學(xué)生對主題意義的探究應(yīng)是學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)語言的最重要內(nèi)容，直接影響學(xué)生語篇理解的程度、思維發(fā)展的水平和語言學(xué)習(xí)的成效。1詞匯教學(xué)不單單是一種語言知識的教學(xué)，更應(yīng)將其融入到語境，通過語境理解詞匯，掌握詞匯，并最終運(yùn)用到語言交際當(dāng)中。基于以上理解，本課抽取本單元詞匯表和課文中的部分重點(diǎn)單詞和詞塊，在學(xué)生完成課文學(xué)習(xí)的基礎(chǔ)上，通過對法國《小王子》故事進(jìn)行改編，和對生詞進(jìn)行重新加工，使學(xué)生在主題的帶領(lǐng)下深入理解、學(xué)習(xí)并運(yùn)用詞匯。同時(shí)，本課嘗試通過把小王子與玫瑰的故事整合到整個(gè)課堂流程中，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生感受身邊事物和周邊環(huán)境的重要性，從而回歸到“人與自然”的六要素整合的新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中。 
2. 語篇類型：口頭記敘文 
本課試圖通過《小王子》的故事作為開頭進(jìn)行整篇引入，以口頭表達(dá)的方式對目標(biāo)詞匯進(jìn)行不同形式的深加工，最后以開放式的結(jié)尾分組進(jìn)行整篇口頭輸出。 3. 授課時(shí)長：1個(gè)課時(shí)（40分鐘） 
【文本分析】 
本課是Module 9 Unit 4的詞匯運(yùn)用課。本單元主題為Exploring Plants，講述的是某些植物的人為遷徙歷史。有鑒于此，本課嘗試以此作為基礎(chǔ)進(jìn)行展開，通過小王子遇到他的玫瑰，游歷各方并最終返回自己的星球后發(fā)現(xiàn)玫瑰已香消玉殞的一系列故事情節(jié)，以口語作為表達(dá)載體，不斷換各種形式的口頭練習(xí)來搭建腳手架，訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的對本單元目標(biāo)單詞和詞塊的理解和運(yùn)用。 
【學(xué)情分析】 
是次授課對象是高三文科班的學(xué)生，其總體層次在本校屬中等偏上水平，但班級內(nèi)部學(xué)生的英語水平分化嚴(yán)重。部分低層次學(xué)生基礎(chǔ)較差，與中高層次學(xué)生的差距較大。考慮到以上情況，在本課設(shè)計(jì)伊始，先通過視頻來引起學(xué)生興趣，然后以簡單的詞匯替換練習(xí)來幫助低層次學(xué)生理解目標(biāo)詞匯，繼而利用合并句子的方法針對中高層次學(xué)生進(jìn)行提升，最后通過小組合作的方式完成口頭作文，靠層層搭建的腳手架最終達(dá)到詞——句——篇的輸出。 
【教學(xué)目標(biāo)】 
在本課學(xué)習(xí)結(jié)束時(shí)，學(xué)生能夠： 1. 語言知識

利用主題語境，通過合作學(xué)習(xí)的方式靈活運(yùn)用目標(biāo)詞匯完成交際需要。 
【教學(xué)重點(diǎn)】 
理解并掌握目標(biāo)單詞與詞塊； 
利用目標(biāo)詞塊進(jìn)行口頭造句和口頭作文。 
【教學(xué)難點(diǎn)】 
正確運(yùn)用目標(biāo)單詞與詞塊進(jìn)行口頭輸出； 
避免口頭表達(dá)中常出現(xiàn)的語法錯(cuò)誤和語言語調(diào)問題。

【教學(xué)反思】 
本課通過主題語境引領(lǐng)，以口頭表達(dá)的方式，整篇輸入，整篇輸出。在課堂的整個(gè)流程中，通過改編《小王子》故事，推進(jìn)課堂進(jìn)程。在單詞和語塊的學(xué)習(xí)活動中，以故事流程作為背景，利用同義詞升級練習(xí)、詞匯替換練習(xí)、句子整合練習(xí)和篇章生成練習(xí)來促進(jìn)學(xué)生對目標(biāo)詞匯的理解和運(yùn)用，做到從詞到句，從句到篇的腳手架搭建。最后以“‘玫瑰’對于我們的意義，我們應(yīng)如何對待地球上的‘玫瑰’”的主題進(jìn)行開放式故事續(xù)寫，進(jìn)一步鞏固課堂上所學(xué)習(xí)的單詞和詞塊。 
然而，在本課實(shí)施過程中，由于并非自己常駐班級，所以師生之間的教學(xué)默契度稍欠，導(dǎo)致上課開始的時(shí)候?qū)W生未能及時(shí)對老師的講授產(chǎn)生反應(yīng)。另一方面，過度關(guān)注某個(gè)別學(xué)生的問題，而未能做到以點(diǎn)帶面，帶動學(xué)生思考，也需要繼續(xù)自我完善和提升。 
所以，如果重新開展本節(jié)課的教學(xué)，需要在確保個(gè)別學(xué)生理解老師的話的基礎(chǔ)上，帶動整個(gè)班的
學(xué)生一起思考問題，并針對問題提出提升方案。千萬不要小覷學(xué)生的智慧。

 Drill Ss in the application of the target words and chunks in a passage. (5th) 
 Focus on the pronunciation and fluency when generating the speech.

 Guide Ss to think about the meaning of the rose by asking question like what means to you while the rose means to the rose
