教學目標：

2. 過程與方法：理解含有所學生詞、詞組的句子和段落并獲取信息；理解有關抽煙、吸毒及其危害的材料并獲取信息；找出段落和文章的從屬關系；用語調表達語氣和情感；自如表達抽煙、吸毒的危害。
3. 情感、態(tài)度、價值觀：提高自我保護意識，養(yǎng)成良好生活習慣，遠離毒品；吸煙造成環(huán)境污染，發(fā)現(xiàn)抽煙者在公共場所抽煙，要學會勸說；關愛社會，關愛他人，熱情參與社會公益活動，幫助沾染壞習慣的弱勢人群。 學情分析：
高一學生，有一定的語言功底，且樂于表達他們的思想。 重難點： 學習語法，培養(yǎng)對因果關系的判斷和分析能力；通過聽和讀培養(yǎng)抓住和辨別信息要點的能力；通過從屬關系的判斷，培養(yǎng)前后聯(lián)系、部分和整體聯(lián)系的思維能力；通過說和寫的訓練，培養(yǎng)根據(jù)事實分析、歸納的邏輯能力和表達能力。 教學步驟：
Step 1: Warming up---Review the words
There are three activities in this part to help students review the words they have learned in this module.
Activity 1: Match the words with their meanings.
Activity 2: Guess the words based on the explanation. Activity 3: Fill in the blanks.

Read the passage aloud and try to find the answers to the two questions: 1. What are the four Ds? 2. What are the suggestions mentioned in this passage to help people give up smoking?
