一、教材分析
本單元話題是談論life goals .Section A部分通過主題圖中關于未來職業的討論,以及幾幅職業場景的圖片將學生帶入my dream job話題。 1a羅列了學生之前學過的已及本單元所學的職業詞匯,如:computer
programmer ,engineer ,driver ,pilot等。通過問題what do you want to be when you grow up ? How are you going to do that ?導入話題,呈現了本單元話題want to be和be going to 的重點句型,并由此引入學生對自己理想職業的打算和思考。1a-1c通過按個人興趣為職業排序,聽力訓練。以my dream job 為話題學習相關生詞和基本句型,并進而引出本單元的主要話題-生活目標。
二、學情分析 學生對于談論未來職業應該比較感興趣,學生已經掌握一些職業詞匯及
句型want to be的用法,課文引入學生對自己理想職業的打算和思考,學生對

過程與 方法 通過主題圖1a主題圖主題情境呈現本單元的基本詞匯;通過內容淺顯聽力輸入,學生經歷聽力練習感知本單元目標語言,包括詞匯和結構;主要以聽
力輸入和口語輸出為主要教學形式,通過聽說法、
、教師引導法及點撥法,利用多媒體PPT輔助教學。主要采用任務性教學方法,通過任務驅動,經歷呈現任務-分析任務-完成任務-落實任務-總結評價的過程,促成語言教學目標有效達成。
情感態度與價值觀
通過談論分享將來的計劃打算和怎樣實現這一目標,學生思考自己的人生目標,及早為將來做準備,樹立正確的人生觀。

Step1.Lead-in:
1.Play a video,Welcome Ss to the stage of Chinese Dream Show. I am the host.
2.Let’s share our dreams together. Step2.Presentation
1.Use some pictures to give some information about jobs to students, and ask students to guess what jobs they are. eg ;Who cook delicious
food in the restaurant? Then ask Ss what do you want to be when you grow up and why? 2.Try to remember the new words.
Step3.Listening.1b
In order to make Ss easy understand the listening material, I will ask Ss to listen to the tape two times, the first time to listen what Tina, Larry, Jane,
and John want to be when they grow up. the second time is to listen how are they going to do that.

Step4. Practice. In order to overcome the teaching difficulties ,I will ask students to work
in pairs. And ask them to talk about their future intensions with the target language and the sentence structure.

1.A balloon game. Let’s have a competition. pay attention to what it’s said. Ss need to
answer my questions according to sth on the screen.

Part 8 .Teaching Reflections: 1 Teaching Harvest
At the beginning of the class, I used a video to lead in and I also used a guessing game to present the target languages. All of these steps aroused students’ interest of learning English. Everyone was very excited to cooperate with me, their ability of speaking was improved better. I also reorganized the listening, and it was more suitable for students in my class, and it made the listening more effective. The group work was to talk about their future plans. students have seen these pictures of jobs so many times when they were very young .So they were so excited to talk about their future intensions .and their comprehensive ability of language application was developed better. At last, I asked students to interview their classmates about their future plans and write a letter back from a girl in America to the Dream Show. The writing task can help all the students of different levels. 2. Teaching shortcomings.
I have set many tasks of different levels for different students, but there were still some students who didn’t take part in the English activities. They were not interested in English and they didn’t want to speak English. Or may be my teaching designs were not suitable for them. So how to design a lesson that can make every student take part in the class activities is still difficult for me .
