教學目標
知識目標:
復習和鞏固小學學過的音標/ə/, /ə:/, , /l/, /r/ and /h/ 并歸納單詞中發這幾個音的字母或字母組合規律
情感目標:
通過朗讀繞口令、自創英語小詩和編寫繞口令等活動,讓學生體會到英語語言的韻律和美感,激發學生學習英語的興趣。
能力目標
1、從學過的單詞中找出發音規律,鍛煉學生的總結歸納能力;
2、通過小組的形式學習并完成任務,提高學生的合作能力及解決問題的能力。
2學情分析
初一的學生在小學沒有系統學過音標,但他們基本上是按發音來學記單詞的,而且他們有了近千的詞匯量。這讓老師在音標教學中讓他們關注并歸納字母及字母組合對應發音的規律時有了很好的教學基礎。另外,初一的學生比較樂于在課堂上開口說英語,這也讓他們在音標的學習中容易得到樂趣和成效。
3重點難點
重點:歸納并總結單詞中的字母發音規律
難點:對于兩個元音 /ə/和/ə:/ 的掌握
4教學過程
4.1第一課時
4.1.1教學活動
活動1【導入】Step 1:Brain storm: tongue twisters
Show the Ss some tongue twisters to read and compete:
Who can read them fast and clearly?
In groups, the Ss practice reading the tongue twisters. Then the teacher lets the groups have a competition.
( Tongue twisters:1. Mother went to another bigger shopping centre with brother.
2. The nurses in skirts washed thirty dirty shirts.)
活動2【活動】Step 2:Talk time
1. Ask the Ss to read the tongue twisters again. Tell them to pay attention to the words with the vowel sounds /ə/, /ə:/.
(Teacher:There is a sound we read in the sentence 5 times. Can you find it out? )
Let the Ss read the tongue twisters 3times, normally to fast.
2. Work out the rules:/l/, /r/ and /h/.
Show the Ss sentences taken from Page 66, Book A. Ask them to read clearly but not too fast.
( Example sentences on Page 66, Book A:
a. The policeman on your left is listening to a tall lady with long hair.
b. Rose write Roy a letter about her red radio.
c. Happy Helen has long hair and a hat. She has her hand on her head.)
Tell the Ss to pay attention to the words with the consonant sounds /l/, /r/ and /h/.
活動3【講授】Step 3. Working out the rules
1. Show the Ss some examples (Page 66, Book A)to read and practice.
(Tteacher: in these words, which letters says /l/, /r/ or /h/.)
2. Ask the Ss to work out the rules. ( In words, the letter ____ says /l/( /r/, /h/). Point out that these sounds are written nearly the
same way as the letters l, r and h.
3. Work out the rules:/ə/, /ə:/ Let the Ss discuss in groups and work out more examples. They write them down on the paper.
(Teacher: Can you tell me which letters say /ə/or /ə:/? )
Teacher writes down their answer on the blackboard and work out the rules with them.
( In words, the letter ____ says /ə/or /ə:/)
活動4【活動】Step 4. Poems&tongue twisters writing
a. Tell the Ss they will complete tasks: writing Poems or tongue twisters give them an example and show them how to write a
poem. Then tell them to write one in groups. (give them some words as a tip.)
b. Share the works together with the whole class.
活動5【測試】Step 5、Self assessment
Tell the Ss to do a self assessment to check how much they have learned in this class.
1.I can say the sounds /ə/, /ə:/, /l/, /r/ and /h/
2.I can correctly say 3 words with the sounds /ə/, /ə:/, /l/, /r/ or /h/
3.I can write a short poem or a tongue twister with /ə/ or /ə:/ words
活動6【作業】Step6、Homework assignment
Finish ExA1、A2 on Page 84, Book B, 7A.
