通過完成閱讀任務,學會運用閱讀技巧:skimming(略讀), scanning(掃讀)。
通過制作海報激發學生保護動物的意識。 學情分析
文本話題是保護熊貓,八年級學生熟悉此話題,對動物比較感興趣,更能專注于閱讀了解更多關于熊貓的知識;從本學期開始已經著重培養學生的閱讀理解的能力,學生已經具備一定的閱讀能力,他們也有更好的獨立思考與理性思考的能力,可以對保護動物有更為具體的理解和行動。

Ask students to watch a video about pandas, and ask a question: Who stays with the pandas? Panda keepers Learn the new words: keeper
設計意圖:通過熊貓和飼養員一起玩耍的視頻,讓學生感受到熊貓的可愛,順利導入到本節課的話題,通過問題的提出,導入到重要詞匯:keeper, 也為下面的閱讀內容作了鋪墊。 2. Brainstorming
Talk more about the pandas.
Give some tips: look, character, where, endangered, research base, protect
設計意圖:通過頭腦風暴的形式,喚起學生對熊貓已有的知識再現,也為學習新詞匯:endangered, research base 提供契機,同時讓學生都張嘴說,活躍了閱讀前的課堂氛圍。
3. Introduce some reading skills
After some introduction about Chengdu Research, we’ll begin reading 2b, before that, the teacher introduce two reading skills:
Skimming: This means looking quickly through a piece of writing to find the main idea without reading every word.
Scanning: This means moving your eyes quickly down the page to find specific information(具體的,詳細信息).
設計意圖:在開始閱讀前,重述這兩種常用的閱讀技巧,旨在引導學生運用正確的閱讀策略完成閱讀任務,這是閱讀課必備的學習目標。 4. Skimming
Read the the whole passage quickly and do Exercise 1&2. E1:The purpose(目的)of the writer is to ask us to:
A. Keep pandas B. Protect/save pandas C. Save the tigers
E2: Match each paragraph with the main ideas.

設計意圖:通過兩個閱讀任務,訓練學生skimming的閱讀策略。Skimming的策略旨在完成獲取文章大意和段意的任務。 5. Scanning
Read Paragraph 1,2 and answer the questions.

設計意圖:通過這兩個閱讀任務,讓學生篩選出文本細節信息,也是閱讀課的一個重點目標。 7. Group work
Retell the article according the mind map.
Ask students to retell the article in groups, then ask some of them to act out.
設計意圖:在每段完成閱讀任務后,老師在黑板上都會有一個簡單的知識梳理,用圖表或簡筆畫畫出了每段的重要內容及情節之間的關系,都是為本環節活動做的鋪墊,讓學生能夠根據老師的思維導圖試著去復述本篇文章,深入理解文章。
8. Make a poster together
The teacher make a language environment. The pandas are called “national treasure of China”. So we should try our best to protect them. So the teacher want to take part in this year’s panda protection poster design competition. Now the teacher needs the students’ help.
G1:Introduce the basic facts about pandas.
G2:Describe the reasons why pandas are endangered. G3-G7:Think up more ways to protect pandas.
G8:Make some slogans(口號) to call up other people to protect pandas.
After finishing the task, each group leader make a report, and make the card on the poster, and finish the beautiful poster together.
設計意圖:通過小組討論完成老師布置的制作海報的一部分,一方面讓學生對本節課所學的內容做個總結:如熊貓的基本情況,瀕危的原因,保護措施,口號;另一方面也是本節課的生成部分,讓學生除了課本上保護熊貓的措施,想出更多的保護辦法;除此之外,通過小組活動,激發了學生的合作意識,也鍛煉了學生寫作和口頭表達的能力。是本節課的一個創新點。 9. Emotion education
Conclude the poster task, and tell students besides the pandas, we should also protect other wild endangered animals. Because the world is so beautiful with these animals.
設計意圖:通過本環節激發學生保護動物保護環境的意識,達到本節課的情感態度價值觀的學習目標 10. Homework
Retell the passage
Choose your favorite animal, and make a poster to ask more people to protect them.
設計意圖:這兩個作業是本節課的重點內容的鞏固和拓展。
