一、教學內容分析
本節課是人教版教材Go For It八年級Unit 4 Section B 的第二課時，是第一課時聽說的深化，是一節閱讀課。通過對一篇關于“達人秀”的閱讀文章，了解才藝展示，并鼓勵學生多培養些才藝。通過學習文章，了解文章大意，掌握文中的重點短語、句子，并通過小組調查、討論、合作活動，讓學生初步運用目標語言談論同班同學的才藝。 二、學習目標 1、知識目標:
A:掌握本課時的目標詞匯：talent magician beautifully role winner prize everybody example poor
B、學習運用短語have...in common、 play a role in doing sth. all kinds of for example take...seriously 2、能力目標:
A.能讀懂使用形容詞和副詞的最高級描述人物和事件的語篇。 B.學習閱讀技能，提升自己的閱讀能力。能使用最高級描述自己身邊的人物和事件。
3、情感目標:學會發現別人的閃關點，并能發展適合自己的才藝，豐富自己的課余生活。 三、學習者特征分析
學生英語基礎普遍較好，接受能力強，而且上一單元就已經接觸了形容詞、副詞的比較級，對最高級老師也進行了滲透，大部分同學都應該能用形容詞、副詞的比較級正確描述人或事物，因此也應該能理解文章大意，一課時學習一篇閱讀雖然有點難，但我想應該能接受。 四、教學策略選擇與設計
采取的是讀前導入，讀中，讀后練習鞏固的設計理念，課堂活動多樣包括互相探討、小組討論，寫作等。 五、教學重點及難點

（一）Pre-reading（Arouse students’ interest and lead in the topic: Who is Got Talent ?）
Ask students to talk about who is the most talented person they know and what he or she can do，and please Talk about who is the most talented person they know and what he or she can do . （二）While Reading
