本課主要活動為Section B 的1a。本課的學習活動由Jane 與Sarah觀看并繼續談論時裝表演展開,呈現表
示提醒和驚訝的功能用語,讓學生了解各民族的服裝和不同服裝所展現的不同的民族文化。要求學生能用關于時裝表演和民族服飾的詞匯、短語和句型談論時裝表演;運用圖片等非語言信息理解主題、拓展對話。 Ⅱ. Teaching aims
1. 知識目標:
①繼續學習賓語從句。
②學習并掌握新單詞,重點詞組及部分少數民族服裝的英語表達方式。

costumes in our country.
2. Students discuss the models in the picture of 1b and describe their clothes. Learn the new word: catwalk . 3.Sing the song together, and answer the question. Then learn some new words and phrases: Zhuang minority costume, Mao minority costume, Man minority costume, Mongolian minority costume, cheongsam, traditional, Tibetan, Korean, a traditional dress, in the world of high fashion… 4.Write them down on the paper. 5.Students listen to1a and answer the questions and check the answers. 6.Students listen to the conversation and number the costumes. 7.Students match the costumes with the models. 1. The teacher shows the picture of 1b to the students on the screen. Let them discuss the models and their clothes. Then teach the new word: catwalk . 2.Play the song Love My China at the same time. Teach the new word minority by answering :what are they wearing ?Lead to the new lesson.
3.The teacher shows some pictures of minority costumes on the screen and talk about the minority costumes Zhuang minority costume, Mao minority costume, Man minority costume, Mongolian minority costume, cheongsam, with the sentences like: The first one/the second /the third one is in… 4.using the same way and sentences to learn the other new wards and phrases: cheongsam, traditional, Tibetan, Korean, a traditional dress, in the world of high fashion… 5. The teacher lets students listen to1a and answer the questions: (1) What are they doing? (2) who knows much about fashion? Jane or Sarah? 6. The teacher plays 1a again and let them listen to the conversation and number the costumes. Check the answer with the students. 7.
