一、教學目標 1. 知識與能力目標:
(1)復習并學會使用be(not)supposed to ..., be(not)expected to ..., be polite/impolite to ..., should do...等句型表達中國的風俗習慣,包括餐桌禮儀、家規及外出注意事項;
(2)運用所學禮儀知識、句型、詞匯進行寫作練習。 2.過程與方法目標:
通過各種形式復習鞏固本單元語法結構及語言知識,并能內化為自己的能力,用書面的形式表達出來。
3. 教學核心素養:
總結、闡述中國的餐桌禮儀,尊重不同的文化,養成良好的習慣。 二、教學重難點 1.教學重點:
(1)掌握本單元重點詞匯和句型;
(2)讓學生能夠以書信的方式就中國的風俗禮儀給他人提出建議。 2.教學難點:提高學生的寫作能力。

T: Do you like western food? Do you know about western table manners? Let’s watch a video about it. (After watching)
T: Table manners are different in different countries, right? But some of them are the same as Chinese customs. Can you tell me some of them?

T: Today we’ll learn sth. about Chinese customs. It’s the writing part of Unit 10 You’re supposed to shake hands.
Ⅱ. Lead in.
1. (show a picture of a big meal and some photos of my families)
T: I’m going to invite the families to have a big meal. Tina is also invited. She is a girl from USA and is coming to China on an exchange program. But where are they supposed to sit? Please discuss in groups and put the photos around the table.
Lead students to make a sentence: In China, the oldest people are supposed to sit on the most important seats.

Work on 3b. Write a letter to your pen pal to give him/her advice and suggestions on how to behave properly in China.
(1)Read the instructions.Show the letter with blanks on the board.Read and get them to use the information in 3a to finish the letter.
