Unit 1 Nothing is more enjoyable than playing tennis.
一、 教案背景
1,面向學生: 中學 2,學科: 八年級上冊
3,課時:Module3 Sports Unit1 Nothing is more enjoyable than playing tennis. 4,學生課前準備: ①小組內相互預習新單詞
②各小組派代表討論自己喜歡的體育運動。
③利用網絡資源收集最新體育信息,能將自己收集的信息與其他同學共享。 二、 教學目標
1.To understand the conversation about sports; 2.To understand the comparison of sports;
3. To talk about the sports that one likes and give reasons, using comparatives. 三、 教材分析
本模塊以學生熟悉和喜愛的體育運動為主題,結合了學習體育活動的開展及奧運會的相關內容,激發學生學習興趣。可采用與實踐相結合的學習策略,提高對文章的理解力。此外,也可利用這次教學機會,提高學生團體意識,鼓勵有運動天賦的學生發揮自己的特長,為班級、為學校增光,進一步提高班級凝聚力。
教學重點:

Step 1 warming up and pre-reading
1.Ask the students two questions: Do you like sports?
Do you watch the Olympic Games on TV in summer holiday? Let the studentssee a video about the Olympic Games.
設計意圖:由問題引出學生對運動的興趣繼而導入課題,課堂氣氛輕松活躍。 Step 2 Show the teaching aims and check the preview homework.
1. Ask the students to read the teaching aims .
2. Ask the students to finish some questions(change the adjectives into their comparative forms)then let them say the rules
設計意圖:此環節通過檢測形容詞、副詞比較級的變化形式n。鼓勵學生歸納并掌握比較級變化規則,在表揚與糾錯中獲得新知。
Step3 Brain storm
T: I like tabletennis ,I think it is enjoyable. What kind of sports do you like?Why?
設計意圖:生通過談論喜好的運動進而頭腦風暴出有關運動的詞匯級一些形容詞,課堂氣氛輕松活躍。
Step4 Match the words with the pictures.
1. Ask the students to finish activity1and2. 2. Match and check.
3. Listen and number the sports as you hear them.
設計意圖:上一步的順利延伸,單詞連圖片是對單詞的鞏固。接著做聽力排序,趁熱打鐵,使學生的能力更上一個臺階。

Step 5 Listen and answer the questions.
1. T: Maybe you like doing some sports after school, but I like watching sports news on TV. Do you like it ? Now, Tony and Betty are watching TV. Let’s listen and find out what they are talking about.
2. S: They’re talking about sports.
設計意圖:對課文的處理先通過教師介紹,使學生對內容初步感知,繼而帶著簡單問題聽錄音,既鍛煉了聽力也為下面的學習打下基礎。
Step 6 Read the dialogue and check the true sentences. Then find the difficulties in the text.
1. This week’s match is more exciting than last week’s. T 2. Tony played table tennis yesterday. F
3. For Tony, playing tennis is more enjoyable than watching matches on TV.T 4. Watching the Olympics on TV was more expensive than buying tickets for the games. F

設計意圖:讓學生讀對話,做判斷正誤,考察學生對細節的把握。在讀對話的同時劃出不理解的短語及句子,為下一環節講解知識點做好鋪墊。 Step7 Language notes:
1. Check the answers in Step 4;
2. Ask the students to say their difficulties, explain them. And show some important expressions.
設計意圖:先讓學生提問,老師回答,如果有學生沒有問到的重點內容,老師可以適當補充,學生記憶深刻 Step 8 Read and act.
1. Ask the students to read the dialogue in roles loudly; 2. Ask them to act it out, choose the best group.
設計意圖:讀后表演是對對話的一個提升,考驗學生對知識點及對文章內容的深刻

理解。這一環節把課堂交還給學生,有效提高了課堂氣氛及效率。此外,學生以小組形式上臺表演,團隊合作精神也得到提高。 Step 9 Work in pairs.
1. Talk about the sports you like.
---Hey, Bruce. Which sport do you like, swimming or running? ---I like swimming. It’s more relaxing than running.
2. Ask the students to read out with these comparatives and then choose the best group.
設計意圖:此活動將文章與語法合理地融為一體,以對話的形式體現學生對新知識點的理解與把握。不僅活躍了課堂氣氛,也能夠看出學生對新語法的駕馭能力。教師只需稍加指點,便可事半功倍。 Step 10 Homework .
1. Write a passage about your favourite sport.
2. Make up a posters about sports when we finish this Module.
設計意圖:是對本單元及本模塊的匯報總結,鞏固知識的基礎上提高學生興趣。 五、 教學反思
本單元通過大明、托尼、貝蒂三人在家觀看電視足球比賽節目時的一段對話,對比了他們各自對觀看比賽和參加比賽的感受,以自然的語境導入了部分雙音節和多音節形容詞的比較級的表達方式。表達自己對運動的喜好與形容詞比較級是本模塊的重點,應著重注意學生的掌握情況,及時調整第二單元的設計思路及方法。
