（一）單元教材分析 
本單元的核心話題是描述動物和表達(dá)個人喜好，以及句式why do you like…? Because…。這也是本單元的教學(xué)重點。通過本單元的學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)生應(yīng)能較流利地運用所學(xué)詞匯和句型描述動物，表達(dá)個人喜好。 （二）單元知識結(jié)構(gòu) 1．詞匯 
動物名稱 panda, tiger, elephant, koala, lion, dolphin, etc． 
詞匯描述性形容詞: smart, cute, beautiful, ugly, clever, shy, etc． 國家名: Australia, South Africa 2．句型 
What animals do you like? I like pandas． 
Why do you like pandas? Because they are cute． Where are pandas from? They're from China． （三）單元整體目標(biāo) 
1．Master the vocabulary: panda, tiger, elephant, koala, lion, dolphin; smart, cute, beautiful, ugly, clever, shy; kind of, very, a little  2．Master and use: 
What animals do you like? I like pandas．
