① To observe and describe animals.
② To talk about their preferences
3. Moral Objects:
Talk about students’ favorite animals, take care of animals and save the earth.
2學情分析
本次授課對象為七年二班學生,本班學生開朗活潑,思維活躍,在學習英語方面有一定的基礎,所以愿意積極參表現,總的來說,大部分學生對于學習英語保持著比較高的熱情。學生自身具備一定的自主學習的能力并具備一定的分析問題和解決問題的能力,雖然有個別學生底子差一些,但受班級氛圍的影響也不甘落后,教師在授課過程中既要給予鼓勵又要因材施教。
3重點難點
1. Teaching Important Points:
1) Learn to describe animals and talk about their preferences.
2) Be able to talk about the animals which they like or dislike and the reasons.
2. Teaching Difficult Points:
名詞的復數形式表示一類事物;第三人稱單數形式

4.1.1教學活動
活動1【導入】Ⅰ. Greeting and lead in
1. Greet with students as usual.
2. Lead in.
To show the picture of a panda, and ask
T: What can you see in the picture?
T: It’s a kind of animal .Today let’s learn something about animals. “
Then have them to recall the animals they had learned and ask
T: What animals do you know?
活動2【講授】Ⅱ. Presentation
1. Play a guessing game
Guess the names of the animals according to the descriptions and learn the new words.
T: What is it? Ss: It’s a panda.
T: Do you like pandas? Ss: Yes.
T: Why do you like them? Ss: Because they are…
2. Practice reading the new words
3. Finish 1a
Look at the pictures of Page 25 and match the words with the animals in the pictures. And then check the answers with students.
4. Listening
Tell Ss to listen to the tape and check the animals they hear in 1a.
And then check the answers with the class.
活動3【活動】Ⅲ.Pair work
1. Ask some questions and students try to answer
T: If you want to see these animals, where do you want to go?
T: What animals do you want to see first?
T: Why?
2. Then ask a student to do the model with you
— Let’s see the lions first.
—Why do you want to see them ?
—Because they are interesting.
3. Ss work with their partners to practice the conversation in 1c .
活動4【活動】Ⅳ. Listening
1. Finish 2a
①Play the recording for the first time. Students listen and try to answer.
T: Listen to the conversation carefully. Then write the names of the animals you hear on these lines. And draw lines between each animal, the adjective and countries you hear.
②Correct the answers.
③Teach the usage of “kind of”
④Make a report according to 2a
2. Finish 2b
①Play the recording for the second time and write the answers in 2b.
②Check the answers with the class.
③Read the conversation in 2b
④Ss practice the conversation in pairs.
3. Finish 2c
Then show the transcription on the big screen and practice the other two conversations in 2a.
活動5【練習】Ⅴ. Exercise
1. Translate some sentences into English and fill in the blanks and then check out the answers with students
2. Play a game
活動6【活動】Ⅵ.Summary
Show some pictures about the animals which were killed by people. And tell our students the importance of protecting the animals.
活動7【作業】Ⅶ. Homework
Oral: 1. Remember the new words.
2. Practice the conversations with your classmates.
Written: 默寫2b中的句子。
優點:林老師在本節課中非常有效地控制了教學節奏。遇到重難點時,就放慢速度,遇到易學點時,就加快速度,讓我深有感觸的是,林老師遇到學生有話可說時,就放慢節奏,讓學生暢所欲言。通過這種張弛有度的節奏,至始至終牽動了學生的注意力,促使學生積極參與到課堂活動中來。
