1.指導思想與理論依據
根據《義務教育英語課程標準》五級要求：學生有較明確的英語學習動機和積極主動的學習態度。能聽懂教師有關熟悉話題的陳述并參與討論。能就日常生活的各種話題與他人交換信息并陳述自己的意見。能與他人合作，解決問題并報告結果，共同完成學習任務。能對自己的學習進行評價，總結學習方法。
2.教學背景分析
教學內容分析：本單元的主要內容是談論物品所在的位置。通過這一話題，訓練學生的聽、說、讀、寫四項基本技能，讓學生通過詢問物品的位置，學習一些有關家居物品和學習用品的單詞，以及方位介詞in, on, under, behind 等的用法；學習并掌握Where問句的問答，一般疑問句提問并用方位介詞來回答；學習名詞單復數及人稱代詞they 的用法，同時培養學生養成干凈、整潔、合理擺放物品的好習慣。本課時作為單元第二課時，要求學生能夠通過觀察、聽力練習和對話練習熟練使用前面學到的有關物品的單詞和方位介詞準確描述并詢問他人房間的布置，也為下一個課時書面表達做好鋪墊。是一節承上啟下的課。
相關單元：Unit 2 This is my sister. Unit 3 Is this your pencil?學習了相關的物品名稱及單復數，一般疑問句和特殊疑問句的構成及回答。 學情分析
本班是A層的學生。大多數學生英語學習興趣較濃，自信心較強，樂于感知新事物，因此要盡量設計符合他們學習興趣的課堂活動。同時，班中也有一小部分學生英語學習暫時落后，尤其是聽說能力較薄弱，自信心不強，不敢回答問題。因此在設計課程時盡量考慮這部分同學，在活動之間搭設臺階，在聽力之前啟發技巧，掃清障礙。同時讓課堂活動由易入難，盡量讓所有學生都有積極參與的機會和欲望。

A. 學生能熟練使用有關物品的單詞：radio, tape, model plane, hat, clocketc和in, on, under, behind, in front of, near等介詞準確描述物品所在的位置。 The ruler is on the bed.

B. 學生能通過聽力內容的學習，基本了解幾種聽力做題技能。 2．過程與方法
A. 學生通過小組對話學會與他人合作交流,并能把語言材料用到真實的生活中去，比如能英語介紹他人的房間物品擺放情況。
B. 學生在聽力練習之前，學會根據相關圖片或例句預測并獲取新信息的策略；
C．學生通過課后小結能夠總結并反思自己學習上的進步和不足。 3. 情感、態度與價值觀
