學情分析
從學生的認知心理來看,八年級的學生正處在青春發(fā)育期,他們都有較高的求知欲和表現欲,希望自己的表現得到同學和老師的認可。特別是對他們熟悉的話題,學生的愛好會更濃。本節(jié)閱讀課的話題正符合學生的這一心理特點,所以在設計教學活動時,要盡量調動學生主動學習的熱情,同時關注學生個體的差異。對于不同能力的學生,要給與不同的任務安排,讓其能力得到不同的發(fā)展。
2教學目標
1)知識與技能目標:
①能使用以下動詞描述制作火雞的步驟:mix, fill, put, cook, place,cover,cut
②能夠初步掌握利用思維導圖分析文章的閱讀技能和寫作技能
③能夠初步掌握表達過度的連接詞或短語
2)過程與方法目標:
①通過完成思維導圖更好的理解文章,掌握寫作框架
②通過排序活動,掌握食物的制作過程及連接詞的用法
3)情感態(tài)度和價值觀目標:
引導學生理解感恩的含義,能夠意識到向身邊人表達感謝,不僅在感恩節(jié),也在生活的每一天。

4.1Teaching process： Part 1： learning with the teacher’s help a. Talk about the picture－－－－－lead to the main information of Thanksgiving b. Duty report－－－－－introduce the background and activities of Thanksgiving c. Mind－map－－－－－have a better understanding of the article d. Put the instructions in order－－－－－help students to think before reading the recipe e. Emotional education－－－－－talk about the meaning of Thanksgiving Part 2： learning in groups Before the groupwork－－－－－know clearly about how to introduce a holiday(useful sentence patterns) While the groupwork－－－－－ write the report in groups using the sentence pattern and the writing frame we learned today. 活動1【導入】a. Talk about the picture
Lead to the main information of Thanksgiving
圖片是一種廣義的閱讀,通過探討圖片中的主要內容,以期達到將學生迅速帶入閱讀主題的目的;同時幫助學生了解美國感恩節(jié)中不可或缺的元素之一,也就是火雞。
活動2【導入】b. Duty report
Introduce the background and activities of Thanksgiving
通過學生的值日報告,引出感恩節(jié)的文化背景、活動和傳統(tǒng)食物,開闊學生的文化視野,激發(fā)閱讀興趣。
活動3【講授】Mind－map
Help sudents have a better understanding of the article
通過思維導圖的完成,幫助學生直觀地了解段落框架,更好地理解文章含義。語篇結構和語篇意義在此過程中初步教學完畢。
活動4【活動】Put the instructions in order
Lead sdudents to think before reading the recipe
此環(huán)節(jié)沒有讓學生直接讀后排序,而是加深了難度,要求學生把正確的制作過程與相應的連接詞匹配。其原因有二:1.八年級的學生學習能力稍強,應該做一些關注學習能力的活動;2.這樣安排會引導學生不只是關注圖片與句子之間的聯系,更要動腦分析各個步驟之間的先后順序,同時關注連接詞的使用。
活動5【活動】Emotional education
Ask a question in order to make sdudents think more
引導學生理解感恩的含義,能夠意識到向身邊的人表達感謝,不僅在感恩節(jié),也在生活的每一天!
活動6【活動】學生活動：Before the groupwork
Know clearly about how to introduce Thanksgiving with the sentence patterns we learned today
通過思維導圖分析文章的結構,其目的是幫助學生學會仿寫。引導學生模仿文章中的主要句式,進行語言輸出。不是泛泛的仿寫,而是抓住文章的主要結構去仿寫。
活動7【活動】學生活動：While the groupwork
Write the report in groups using the sentence patterns and the writing frame we learned today.
調動學生利用已有的知識儲備,和值日報告中了解的文化背景,根據所學句式和文章框架結構進行仿寫。能力較強的學生還可以根據值日報告拓展寫作內容。
活動8【活動】學生活動：After the groupwork
Show the report in groups.
這個環(huán)節(jié)是給學生一個展示的平臺,同時也是對小組合作學習成果的一個檢測。
活動9【作業(yè)】鞏固并延伸課堂教學內容
Write an introduction for your favorite Chinese holiday using the sentence patterns you learned today. If you can, add a recipe after it.
