第2課時	Book1  Unit4  Reading(1) --- Looking good, feeling good
1.教材分析	What：一篇關于一女學生節食減肥以致校園暈倒的新聞報道。 How：以新聞報道的倒金字塔結構分三個部分對事件進行了報道和分析。 Why：報道學生因節食減肥以致暈倒的事件，提醒同樣想要減肥的中學生極端減肥方法的危害，并結合專家給予了專業的減肥的建議。
2.學情分析	基于學生初中三年的英語積累，以及語文學習中對新聞報道結構的掌握，學生在學習過程中能了解文章結構，同時用英語談論“健康”和“減肥”的話題，得體地與他人交流溝通，正確表達個人觀點。
3.教學目標	During this period, students will be able to: 1. understand the news reports related to the topic of “teenage weight loss” and grasp the structure of news reports; 2. use different reading strategies to obtain information, pay attention to and observe the language characteristics of news report; 3. distinguish and identify the social phenomena reflected in the news report, understand the author's writing intention and make correct value judgments; 4. take a rational look at outer appearance, increase self-confidence, and create a healthy lifestyle.
4.*重點難點	In this lesson, it is important for students to: 1. use different reading strategies to obtain information, pay attention to and observe the language characteristics of news report; 2. distinguish and identify the social phenomena reflected in the news report, understand the author's writing intention and make correct value judgments; 3. take a rational look at outer appearance, increase self-confidence, and create a healthy lifestyle.
5.教學過程	教學目標 教學活動與步驟 評價要點 時間與互動模式 學生能夠讀懂與“青少年減肥”話題相關的新聞報道，把握新聞篇章結構。   Step 1. 1. Review what we have talked about in last period: (1) Healthy lifestyles and their benefits; (2) The inverted pyramid structure of a news report; (3) The features of the headline. 學生能及時回顧復習上節課所學知識，并為新課做好準備。 IW 2' 設計意圖：引導學生及時復習鞏固之前所學的知識，引入主題，激發思考，鋪墊語言。 學生能夠使用不同的閱讀策略獲取信息，通過比較、分析、思考，留意并觀察新聞報道的語言特點。   Step 2. 1. Read the lead part(Para.1),and then think about the following questions: (1) What information is mentioned? (2) What are the similarities and differences between Lead and Headline? 2. Read the Body (Para.2-4) part, and fill in the blanks with correct words. Then put them into correct order according to the time line. And then try to find out and think: Who are interviewed in the Body part? Why are they interviewed? 3. Read the Tail (Para.5-7) part, and answer the following questions. Then, try to think about why the writer lists some figures and interviews an expert? 4. Figure out the main idea of each part. 學生能夠在教師的引導下，獲取文本信息并分析文本特點。 IW/PW 22' 設計意圖：閱讀文本，并引導學生從兩方面對新聞報道各部分進行分析：一為激活閱讀策略，獲取信息；二為觀察、分析新聞報道各部分的文本語言特點。最后引導學生歸納總結各部分的主旨大意，幫助學生更好地理解文本，從而為下一步了解作者寫作意圖做好鋪墊。 學生能夠區分和鑒別新聞報道語篇中所反映的社會文化現象，了解作者寫作意圖并做出正確的價值判斷。   Step 3. Lead the students to think: What is the writer’s purpose of writing this news report? 學生能夠基于文本結構，思考并分析出作者的寫作意圖從而做出正確的價值判斷。 IW/GW 5' 設計意圖：基于上一環節對文本信息和寫作特點的分析，引導學生進一步地思考分析語篇中反應的社會文化現象，激發學生思考作者的寫作意圖，從而引導學生做出正確的價值判斷。 通過角色扮演，學生可以代入角色，理性看待外表，不斷增強自信心，營造健康的學習生活方式。 Step 4. Role play. Ask the students to discuss in pairs and then act out their interview: If you are the news reporter, and your desk-mate is Jennifer, what questions will you ask her, and how will Jennifer answer?   學生能夠代入到語篇中去，積極參與課堂活動并結合本節課所學所思表達自己的觀點。 GW 10' 設計意圖：結合語篇的文本特點，激發學生通過角色扮演來代入不同的角色。同時結合本節課所學所思，鼓勵學生積極表達自己的看法和心得，積極輸出。 學生能夠及時鞏固與復習當節課所學的內容。 Step 5: 1. Conclusion: 2. Homework: 學生能積極及時完成作業，及時鞏固所學的知識。 IW 1' 設計意圖：引導學生對整節課所學的知識有清晰的梳理，并督促學生及時鞏固，加深理解。

8.教學反思	本節課對文本的梳理思路清晰，從信息獲取和觀察分析文本特點兩條線對語篇進行了分析，并結合板書將主要信息清晰陳列。同時對于寫作意圖的進一步分析能夠幫助學生更好地理解這篇新聞報道的主旨和中心思想，幫助學生樹立正確的審美觀。課堂的展示環節是本節課的亮點，學生能夠積極代入角色，暢所欲言，生動且有活力。美中不足是活動時間預留稍短，沒有給更多的小組展示的機會。
