2學情分析
1. The students may have known looking good has something to do with the appearance and feeling good is
related to health, but they may not be able to keep a good balance between appearance and health because
they may pay more attention to their appearances.
2. The students have the ability to think individually and discuss with parterns, so they can solve some problems by thinking and discussing.
3. The teenage students need to develop their moral values and they can learn how to improve their ethics and
learn what true beauty is in this lesson.

1. Make the students know looking good and feeling good and which one is more important.
2. Lead the students to discuss the true beauty for students.

活動1【導入】Step 1 Lead－in
1. Let the students think about some questions:
1). Is beauty important?
2). What’s the charming of beauty?
2. Ask the students to listen to a song and pay attention to the words of the song and then answer
the questions above.
Show the students that the love for beauty is a nature of all human beings.
3. Lead the students to think about another question: what is beauty?
活動2【活動】Step 2 Picture talk and further discussion
1. Let the students look at the following questions and discuss with their partners.
1). Do you think appearance plays an important part in your life?
2). Which do you think is more important, looking good or feeling good? Appearance or health?
2. Ask some students to give their opinions.
3. Tell the students to compare two cases with certain situations to find out the conclusion of the
discussion.
Good appearance is certainly important, but we should pay more attention to our health.
活動3【講授】Step 3 Conclusion
Sum up the balance of how to look good and feel good after the discussion is finished and let the
students have a better understanding of how to keep healthy. Show some tips about how to
keep fit.
•Don’t eat junk food. Try and eat a healthy diet.
•Don’t go to bed too late. Make sure you get enough sleep.
•What’s more, we should take regular [ˈregjələ] exercise.
活動4【活動】Step 4 Question
1. Ask the students to work in groups to think about the following question:
What can we do to keep ourselves both looking good and feeling good?
2. Lead the students to find out the answers related to sports.
If we want to keep healthy and stay in shape, maybe we can do some sports and join some
clubs.
3. Show some words of sports and clubs. Ask the students to pay attention to the pronunciation.
Meanwhile classify the words into several groups: track & field, ball games and etc. so that
the students can memorize the words better.
活動5【活動】Step5 Free talk
Ask the students two questions and lead the students to learn some words about clubs.
1) Among all kinds of sports, which do you like most?
2) Are there any school clubs in your school? Have you ever joined one? If not, are you
planning to join one?
活動6【活動】Step6 Further discussion
1. Make the students to think another two questions and let the students to have a further
discussion by comparing several cases. Give the students some clues related to virtue beauty.
1).What else can we do to make us more beautiful?
2).For students, what is true beauty?
2. Conclusion: Virtue is true beauty.
3. Encourage the students to give more examples of virtue beauty and then conclude.
4. Tell the students that it’s not important what they look like, but what they will become.
活動7【作業】Step7 Homework
1. Write a short passage about looking good and feeling good.
which do you prefer? Why?
2. Learn more details about the sports on internet and finish part C & part D on page 47.
