Teaching Objectives
1.Language ability
(1)Ss know some generic features of expositions, such as tense,grammatical person and aspects to be introduced.
(2) Ss are able to observe and imitate some useful expressions and advanced structures.
(3) Ss are able to write a brief introduction with accuracy and coherence.
(4) Ss are able to evaluate their own and others’ compositions with proper evaluation standards. 2.Culture Awareness (1) Ss develop an interest to explore the world and to observe it from different aspects.
(2) Ss create an awareness of respecting different cultures, customs and beliefs. 3. Learning ability
Ss utilize some writing strategies, such as brainstorming, imitating, self-evaluating. 4.Thinking quality

What aspects should I choose to introduce the place? The rest students brainstorm the aspects to be introduced. 2. Ss read the two samples , underline the aspects and answer the questions.
