Lead-in:
Talking about a painting named “Hope” which influenced
Obama a lot to interest the students. From this story, we can draw a conclusion that art is really important in our daily life. And it can also raise the topic of the text.
Reading:
Skimming:1.to match the words with definitions 2. to match the pictures with passages
Scanning: 1. to fill in the form about the text.
2. While filling in the form, the teacher asks the
students some detail questions about each passage.
Consolidation (group work)
1. Divide the class into 5 groups and ask them to have a
discussion according to their topic (a painting).
2. Each group chooses one person to introduce sth about the painting. In that way it can not only widen their views, but also practice their oral English. Developing (group work)
Design an emblem for the class.
1. Have a discussion about their emblems and try to

一、教材分析教學設計
本模塊是關于藝術的話題。介紹了畢加索等數位世界級著名藝術家及其藝術風格，同時引入了與藝術和藝術欣賞有關的詞匯。通過學習，學生應該初步了解這些藝術家及其藝術風格，并能用英語簡單地介紹自己喜愛的藝術家及其
藝術作品。
本模塊閱讀部分文章簡單易懂。內容涉及畢加索，洛伊.利希騰斯坦，齊白石，徐悲鴻等藝術家及他們的藝術作品。藝術這一話題人們并不陌生，但一般人對于藝術方面的知識的掌握都有限。而要讓學生用英語描述藝術作品難度就更大了。根據這種情況，我的教學思想主要是：既然這篇文章是關于藝術的，那么就想盡一切辦法使學生能通過對課文的學習而了解更多的藝術知識及作品。真正做到豐富學生的知識，擴大學生的知識面。因此基于這種想法，我在教學過程中除文章中涉及的作品外我還提供給學生很多中外名家的作品。并通過讓學生自主討論學習使學生了解更多藝術作品。在教學中我主要通過圖片展示，討論等方法激發學生學習興趣。同時給學生創造話題讓其討論已達到語言運用的目的。使學生在學習過程中不僅了解更多的藝術知識，也學會欣賞美。 二、教學目標
1.讓學生知道藝術對我們的生活很重要。通過對本文的學習使學生能更多地了解一些藝術家及其藝術作品。
2.通過對本文的學習，培養學生的快速閱讀和細節閱讀的能力。 3.使學生懂得珍愛生活，學會欣賞生活中的美。 三、教學重點、難點
讓學生更多地了解一些藝術家及其藝術作品，從而提高他們的藝術素養，豐富藝術知識。同時意識到藝術就在我們周圍，要學會欣賞它。 四、教學方法及手段
運用多媒體，采用交際及討論的方法使學生更好地學習課文。 五、教學過程 1.課文導入（3分鐘）：
首先通過談論一幅影響熱門人物奧巴馬的一生的藝術作品來激發學生的對本課的興趣。同時引出藝術在我們生活中很重要，有時它甚至會改變人的一生。從而引出藝術這一話題。
2.詞匯復習（1分鐘）：詞語和定義連線。 3.快速閱讀（2分鐘）：
快速閱讀文章，說出哪篇文章描述的是哪一幅藝術作品。
4.查讀（13分鐘）：通過填表分析文章使學生更好地了解課文。同時通過展示
圖片的方式使學生更多地了解更多的藝術家及藝術作品。
5.讀后鞏固（2分鐘）：通過文章中的兩名同學對藝術作品發表看法的學習，讓
學生自己談談他們對這幾幅藝術作品的看法。
6.課文延伸（18分鐘）1：分組討論：先展示給學生一些藝術作品讓他們分組
討論，然后每組選出一名同學介紹有關這幅圖片的藝術知識。
2. 藝術無處不在，有時一些簡單的圖形也能表達出特
殊的意思，就像中國印“舞動的中國”有著很深刻的含義。同學一起設計班徽。小組討論，全班同學
一起選出大家最滿意的一個。 7.作業（1分鐘）：寫一篇關于你最喜歡的藝術家的文章。
