To make students write this kind of composition easily. To motivate students’ cofidence in English.

To master the way how to write an argumentation. 
Teaching difficult points:  
To enable the students to write this kind of composition by themselves. 
Teaching methods: 
Task-based and cooperative learning. 
Teaching aids: 
Multimedia, blackboard, etc. 
Teaching procedures: 
Step 1: Lead-in 
Ask students a question and lead in the topic. Step 2: Discussion 
1.Work in groups to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of making friends online. 2.Share opinions with group members and appreciate some examples given by teacher . Step 3: Practice 
Read a possible version and find out the topic sentences of each paragraph in order to know the structure of this kind of composition. Step 4: Writing 
Make a conclusion according to a mind map and write this composition by students.
