2學(xué)情分析
The lesson is from NSE English for Grade 7, Module 11 Body language, Unit 1 They touch noses! The students are around 13 years old who are extremely curious about the world outside. The main task for students to talk about is foreign culture, which is an interesting topic for them. As at this age, they are able to get information about foreign culture by various means and talk about them. This part mainly focuses on body language when people meet in some countries. Thus, enough practice to learn words, phrases and sentence related to talking about body language will be organized. Because only with enough input can we expect effective output.

Students can learn to use the new vocabulary and structures to talk about body language.
Teaching difficulties
Students are not familiar with the cultural background. It’s difficult for them to use the key vocabulary and structures skillfully.

Look at three pictures, get information, and describe picture. Guess which country they come from.

Listen and choose the countries mentioned in the listening material.
Listen to the conversations and answer questions one by one.

Read and fill in the blanks
Pair work
Work in pairs, ask and answer questions according to the chart.
