教學內容分析
1. 教材內容的地位、作用于意義:本課時是Module11 Unit1的第一課時(聽說課),它以聽、說為主,讀、寫結合;重點在于培養學生的聽、說、讀的訓練能力,通過學習,使學生能熟練地掌握各個國家人見面時所用的肢體語言。
教材的編排特點,重點和難點:
重點:重點詞匯與句型;能正確的表達和運用中國,美國,俄羅斯,新西蘭,印度,和日本這些國家的人見面時所用的肢體語言。
難點:各種肢體語言的表達和國家的名稱及其形容詞。

教學過程(步驟、目標、教師活動、學生活動、媒體運用)
Step 1 Lead-in:
通過一些網上搜來的圖片配上音樂,引起學生的學習興趣和熱情。As we saw, people in different countries have different ways to say hello when they meet. 運用圖片教課文里要求掌握的一些國家打招呼用的肢體語言,然后通過Brain Storm游戲去檢查落實掌握情況,然后檢查課前自學的單詞。
Step 2 Match
Activity 1 Match the pictures with the words and expression from the box and check the answers.
Activity 2 Listen and match the pictures with the nationality and check the answers.
Make conversations in pairs:
What are they doing?
______________________.
Are they Chinese?
No, they aren’t. Maybe they are ________________.
Step 3 Activity 3
First, listen to the conversation in Activity 3 and find the countries they mention.
Then listen again and find the body languages they use to say hello in these countries.
Read the conversation,role reading.
Make conversations in pairs:
What do people in ______________do when they meet?
People in _____________ usually _________________ when they meet.
Play a game 以游戲方式讓學生進一步掌握所學六個國家打招呼的肢體語言。
Step 4 Group work
Summary: We learn people in different countries have different body languages to say hello when they meet.
Group work: Use the body languages we learn today to discuss when you can do when you meet some students from different countries and make a short report.
