1. 通過對標題和教材圖片的解讀,理解兩者在文本中的作用,推測文本題材和文本內容;
2. 通過略讀,提升對議論文本的概括能力;能運用細讀技巧,分析直接問題和禮貌請求語句的區別,提高從文本獲取信息的能力;
3. 通過深度并借助文中語句,交流與分析禮貌用語的特點,提高文本解構能力,增強探究意識和語用能力;
4. 開展自主學習和小組活動,掌握文中重點詞匯及句型和用法,能借助本文的基于文化知識的恰當語言的相關詞匯,與人交流這一話題,樹立在不同的場合使用不同用語的觀念和意識。

Step2 Task 1 Skimming Read the article and underline the topic sentence for each paragraph.(P22) (5mins)
Paragraph 1. When you visit a foreign country, it is important to know how to ask for help politely.
Paragraph 2. Good speakers change the way they speak in different situations.
Paragraph 3. Usually polite questions are longer. Paragraph 4. However , it is important to learn to use the right language in different situations.
