教學目標
一、知識目標:
1)能正確使用:apartment, space 能認讀:astronaut,rocket
(2)復習鞏固一般現在時和一般過去時;進一步學習并靈活運用一般將來時will do結構。
二、能力目標:
(1)培養學生的聽力技巧,如通過觀察圖片預測聽力內容,根據句子結構預測空缺詞語的詞性等。
(2)能夠運用一般現在時,一般過去時和一般將來時這三種時態進行交際;靈活運用一般將來時will do結構對未來生活進行預測。
(3)培養學生借助思維導圖梳理思路,拓展思維的能力。
三、情感目標:
通過對現在和過去生活的描述以及對未來生活的預測,培養學生積極樂觀的生活態度,激勵學生為理想而努力。

在知識體系上,學生已經掌握一般現在時和一般過去時,并能進行運用。
在年齡特點上,八年級上學期的孩子還比較活潑,熱愛表現;有自己對未來的理想和理解。

教學重點
通過教學,靈活運用所學詞匯,進一步理解一般現在時、一般過去時和一般將來時的結構和用法。創設情景突出三種時態的運用并進行交際。
教學難點
靈活使用一般將來時并對未來生活進行預測。
4教學過程
4.1第一學時
4.1.1教學活動
活動1【導入】warming up
1.Play the song “ Que Sera Sera”.
2. Greetings
Greet Ss and introduce the teacher herself.
3. Warming- up
Let Ss guess three questions about the teacher, including the past, now and the future.
設計意圖:通過問候和猜測,激發學生興趣,與學生拉近距離,并且導入本課主題:談論過去、現在和將來的生活。
活動2【活動】 Listening
1.Before listening
Show the pictures and let Ss talk about the pictures. And teach the new words:apartment, astronaut, space and rocket.
設計意圖:通過觀察圖片教授新單詞并預測聽力內容,為接下來的聽力做準備,同時激發學生好奇心和聽的興趣。
2.While listening
(1) Play the tape. Have the Ss listen and number the pictures.(finish 1b)
(2) Listen again and finish the listening tasks of each conversation.
Discuss a question: If you don't like your job, what will you do?
設計意圖:除了聽基本信息之外,挖掘聽力教材,引導學生思考現實生活中的問題,培養學生發散性思維,同時進行情感教育。
3. After listening
(1) Have Ss repeat conversation 3 after the tape, then check the answers of conversation 3
(2) Have Ss discuss if Joe will be an astronaut in ten years. Why or why not?
設計意圖:
1.讓學生模仿跟讀,提醒學生注意句子重音和單詞連讀,引導學生正確運用朗讀技巧。
2. 通過討論,激發學生發散性思維,引導學生考慮社會發展對人們生活的影響。
活動3【活動】Pair work
Give a model first.
A: What do you do now?
B: I …
A: Where do you live?
B: I …
A: How do you go to work?
B: I …
然后讓學生通過翻卡片的形式選取now, in the past, in the future 以pair work的形式談論Joe’s life.
再兩兩對話,談論自己將來的生活。
設計意圖:通過在教師控制下的對話活動,鞏固目標詞匯和核心句型。再進行半控制性的對話,暢想自己將來的生活。
活動4【活動】 Consolidation
Let Ss fill in the blanks with the correct verbs, then summarize the verb forms of each tense.
設計意圖:通過課本1d改編的填空練習,讓學生總結三個時態最關鍵的動詞形式。加深對三個時態的理解, 也作為本課時的summary。
活動5【活動】Group work
學生四人一組進行小組活動,模擬訪談節目Talk show,一個為主持人,其他為嘉賓。
Where do you live now? ...
How do you go to school? …
Where did you live five years ago? …
What do you think of your future will be like in ten years?
What will you do in twenty years and why?
Where will you live in twenty years?
小組展示結束時進行情感教育:
Our future will be colorful! Stick to your dream and make it come true!
設計意圖:讓學生結合自己實際生活,靈活運用本課目標語言,并適當拓展。
活動6【作業】Homework
Let students draw a picture of their future life. Write down their predictions and how to achieve it.
設計意圖:通過預測鞏固一般將來時will do結構,同時培養學生想象力和為理想而努力的決心。
