教學目標
1、知識目標:單詞:prepare, exam, flu, available, until, hang, catch 等。 常用表達:prepare for, go to the/a doctor, another time, hang out等。 語言:能正確使用can引導的句子表達邀請(Can for invitations)并用 have to, must表達拒絕邀請的理由。 A:Can you play tennis with me? B: Sure, I'd love to. A: Can you go to the movies tomorrow night? B: Sure. That sounds great. / I'm afraid not. I have the flu. / I have to help my parents. /I must study for a math test. 2、能力目標:能夠使用所學目標語言在日常生活中 “發出、接受、拒絕邀請”并給出合理的理由。 3、情感目標:了解有關聚會邀請的禮儀等,學會禮貌地發出、接受、拒絕邀請。
2學情分析
本單元的主題是發出邀請,接受邀請及拒絕邀請。圍繞這一主題進行一系列交際活動,使學生熟練掌握以Can開頭的一般疑問句并正確使用。 Sure, I’d love to./ I’m sorry, I can’t. I have to ……表示接受和拒絕邀請。在此之前,學生已掌握can,have to及would love的用法。所以,這些對學生來說并不難,比較容易掌握。
3重點難點
Important points: 1. 掌握與接受或拒絕邀請相關的詞匯或短語:prepare for , have the flu, hang out, available等, 并復習 go to the doctor, study for a test, help my parents, meet my friends等動詞短語。 2. 掌握發出、接受或拒絕邀請的相關句型。 Difficult points: 拒絕邀請時會準確地運用have to, must并能夠給出合理的理由。

活動1【導入】Step 1. Lead-in (5’)
1. Do a survey of weekend activities. 2. Present Eduardo’s small party and ask students why he isn’t happy. 3. Lead in different verb phrases to talk about obligations.
活動2【活動】Listening
Step 2. Listening I (10’) 1. Listen and fill in the blanks. 2. Listen and complete the sentences with the phrases. 3. Pair work: Students make, accept and decline invitations. Step 3. Listening II (15’) 1. Listen to 2a and circle can or can’t. 2. Listen to 2b and complete the chart. 3. Make a report to say who can come and who can’t come and why. 4. Pair work: Ask students to decline invitations and give reasons. Step 4. Listening III (12’) 1. Listen and fill in the blanks. 2. Role-play the conversation.
活動3【作業】 Step 5. Summary (3’)
Sum up how to make, accept and decline invitations. Homework Finish P67 3a, 3b and Self check 1, 2.
