Abstract
This paper takes the listening and speaking lesson of Go For It Unit “My favorite subject is science” as an example, which mainly adopts the task-based language teaching method and communicative teaching method to explore how to teach English listening and speaking class effectively in junior schools under the New National English Curriculum. The author sets appropriate goals for each teaching stage. As for teaching strategies in this class, the author sets each stage with the aim of getting students to express what his or her favorite subject is. The whole process of teaching is arranged according to the difficulty. Students will reach the final aim at the end of the class. The author let students practice listening in order to speak, and meanwhile, let students practice listening and speaking alternately, which is good for the goal of this class to express students’ favorite subjects.

Step 1 Lead in
1) Greeting as usual;
2) Present Harry Potter’s pictures, as a student like them, he has many subjects to learn. Which subject is his favorite one? Lead in their answers and also have a review of the words.
Purpose: by a popular film star, Harry Potter, who is also a students like them, lead in the sentence structure naturally.
Step2 Review and Warming Up
Review by showing pictures about subjects and ask students
T: what’s your favorite subject? S:
Purpose: new words are reviewed, and then the sentence pattern was leaded out to attract students’ attention.
Step 3 1a Match the words with the pictures
Check the answers.
Purpose: To get listening materials input.
Step 4 1b Listen and circle the subjects your hear in 1a.
Listen to the tape and check the answers.
Purpose: To get listening materials input and speaking material output.
Step 5 Play the tape again and ask students to read after it. Play the tape.
Purpose: To get listening materials input, speaking material output, the most important thing is to let them practice English speaking.
Step 6 1a Match the words with the pictures
Purpose: To review and get familiar with the words again and prepare for the speaking part.
Step 7 A guessing game
The teacher will act and let them guess what my favorite subject is.
Purpose: let them review and practice the words and pay attention to reasons why somebody likes the subject.
Step 8 2b Listen and match the subjects you hear with the descriptions
Check the answers.
Purpose: To review and get familiar with the words again and prepare for the speaking part.
Step 9 2b Pair work
Make their own conversations like 2a.
Purpose: To practice speaking and use the language.
Step 10 Summary

1) 起來發言的學生對math,geography等單詞的發音還是不夠準確,所以以后應多注重語音教學這一塊,可領著學生多讀,或者以分角色朗讀或小組對話形式等方式讓學生多讀,增強英語語感。讓他們多聽聽原版英文素材跟著練習英語朗讀!
2)在Guessing Game這一塊,我讓學生猜我最愛的科目,隨后呈現出句子——What’s your favorite subject? ——My favorite subject is...(承接前面的聽力對話
Q1: favorite subject: English example: A: What's your favorite ...? B: It's ... A: Why ...? B: Because ... 中譯英 A:你最喜歡的科目是什么啊? B: 我最喜歡科學。 A: 為什么呢? B: 因為它很有趣。
練習)——Why do you like it? ——Because it’s ...(就是啟下了,為2b的聽力材料和之后的1c, pair work做鋪墊)。那么既然是先行材料,因該也讓學生跟著老師讀一讀,鍛煉鍛煉學生的語感,這一模塊對學生的語感練習還需要加強。并且要舍得用學生,應該找個成績好口語棒的學生先做一個示范,讓學生自己表演并引導同學們問他/她最喜歡的科目,最后進行語音跟讀。這也充分體現聽說結合,聽先行,說隨后的英語教學基本框架。也正好將老師放于引導者的地位,學生做課堂的主體的教學要求。
Ⅸ. 教學后二次反思
1)不管在example 還是 pair work部分,要多用學生來做示范,可以老師和好的學生間做一個示范帶頭,再用倆好學生做個學生間的示范,其他學生就會跟著做了,好的學生又得到了展示,充分調動了兩大部分的積極學生的力量; 2)一定要以學生為課堂的中心,體現students-centered class,即一定要體現大課堂的環境,讓大多數學生特別是中等成績的學生甚至是不敢開口說英語的學生參與進去,敢于開口說,覺得有話可說,對此感興趣去說,才能調動全班大部分人的積極性,才能提升全班的整體水平,且要以聽助讀,用聽帶說,多讓學生聽,讀,表演,參與!
3)一定要懂得充分利用自己所有的資源,如在最后pair work部分要互問互答,“What’s your favorite subject?””It’s ...” “Why do you like it?” “Because it’s ...” 可用自己與一個好學生,還有倆好學生之間拍些小視頻,作為自己視聽說課上的教學資源,更可將這些視頻作為本次聽說課的視頻引入或者視頻教學深入的可視資源,既為學生做了聽力的鋪墊,也用學生最喜歡,接受效果最好的可視的方式做了說的輸入,這也是同學們所熟悉的人與事物,對他們的吸引力會更強,他們就會更加的關注更加愿意去模仿去學習!

再教設計:Let them watch a short video which shows the conversations between the teacher and the students to talk about what their favorite subject is. Then Make their own conversations like 2a.
(設計目的:以學生與老師間談論最喜愛的科目的視頻引入,為學生最綜合這部分的語言輸出先鋪墊,充分利用學生資源,調動口語好的學生的積極性,創造力,以學生最喜愛的可視資源為他們進行示范,作為語言輸出的材料,學生便很能吸收并樂于去模仿,這樣全班各個成都的學生達到的效果都是最好的)
