一、學情分析:
六年級的學生已有一定的英語知識儲備,在5Bunit7 Chinese festivals中對中國部分傳統節日的風俗有了初步的了解。本課時講述的是中國傳統重要節日:春節,貼近學生的實際,對于文本的理解并沒有太大的難度,教學重點主要放在學生語言能力的培養和文化意識的滲透上。) 二、教學目標:
1.學生能在情境中掌握單詞和詞組: fireworks, a lion dance, red packets, get, Hong Kong, next week, food, tangyuan, Chinese New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year’s Day 2.學生能在情境中理解be going to的用法,并能嘗試運用be going to表達“計劃”和“準備”。
3. 通過本節課的學習,學生能夠有步驟地閱讀和理解正確理解story time內容,并用正確的語音語調朗讀。
4.學生能夠了解更多的春節文化,以及揚中與香港春節文化的異同,并嘗試著用英文表達。
5.學生能夠感知了解英文電子郵件的格式。 三、教學重點:
1. 學生能在情境中掌握單詞和詞組:fireworks, a lion dance, red packets, get, Hong Kong, next week, food, tangyuan, Chinese New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year’s Day 2.學生能在情境中理解be going to的用法,并能嘗試運用be going to表達計劃和準備。

2. Talk about “Chinese New Year” what the Ss know. 3.Guessing game
T:Today I take a present for you. Look!(PPT出示謎面) 引出:red packet
T:Good! Look, I have a big red packet.What’s in it?Guess! Ss: There is/are...
3. T: In the red packet, there are some pieces of paper. You can pick one. Maybe you can get some “sweets”, or “some questions”, or a “lucky coin”. Who wants to try? 學生抽摸字條,獲得相應禮物或者回答相應問題。 Step 2:Learn the story 1. The feedback of the preview. 1)Ss say sth about Anna’s information. 2)Konw sth about email. 2.Prediction:
T:What is Anna going to do at Chinese New Year? Ss:Anna is going to...
3.Watch and answer:What is Anna going to do at Chinese New Year? 4.Read and order.
T:OK. She is going to do many things. Can you put them in the right order? Open your books, turn to page 80. Read the text loudly and write down the numbers.
Check the answer.

2.T:Good job!What are the differences of New Year customs between Hong Kong and Yang Zhong?Please discuss in groups. You can say like this: On Chinese New Year’s Eve, Anna is going to make cakes, but I’m going to make dumplings. Check the answer. Share.
3.Homework(選擇性星級作業)
a. Read Anna’s email and tell your family about Chinese New Year in Hong Kong. b. Make your plan for Chinese New Year with your family.
c. Surf the Internet, try to know some New Year customs(風俗) of different places in China
