They can match the ways and the places correctly.

3. The kids can read the text after the tape.
4. The kids can know there are different ways to go to school and write a short passage about their different ways to go to school.
5. The kids can know whatever we take, we must know the traffic rules. And they can try to make a big poster together.

活動1【導入】Step one:Warming-up / Revision
1.Greetings between the teacher and the students.
2.Do the duty report.
3.Free talk.
4.Brain storm: review the ways to go
活動2【講授】Step two: Presentation
1. Lead-in
Presentate the picture that Robin is reading for grandpa,then talk about it.
Read the dialogue between Robin and Grandpa.
Lead in the topic: Different ways to go to school.
2. Task 1:read the text and hold the main idea.
3. Task 2: Read the passage and answer the question:
How many ways to go to school can you find out in the text?
Leads the students to underline them.
4. Task 3: Read the passage and answer the question:
How many places can you find out in the text?
Leads the students to underline them.Then tell them something more about the places with pictures to expand their knowledge on PPT.
5. Task 5: Read the sentences after the recorder and pay attention to the pronunciation like:
Come and have a look. Picture of stop at a red light
Put different stress and intonation on each passage.
6. Task 4: Read the passage and judge or answer the question.
Leads the students find out the reasons.
7. Task 6: Read the passage again and answer the question:
Does everyone in the text go to school?
T tells the students to read carefully especially the dialogue irrelevant to the passage.
活動3【練習】Step three: Consolidation and Extension
1.Recall the whole text with pictures and the sentence structure: Some children go to school _______ in _______.
2.Presentate other places with pictures and make sentences.
Give them a word bank first.
3.Discuss and write.
Choose some suggestions for the kids on page 18.
4. Give an example.
5. Show time.

1.Listen and imitate reading the text.
2.Write a passage and make a poster with the suggestions on P19.
