教材分析
本單元的教學內容是使學生掌握一些職業的英語表達并就此展開相關討論,能夠簡單介紹人物職業,會詢問他人的工作情況并給出相應的回答。了解英語中職業名稱對于不同性別的差異。運用到的重點句型有:What does your mother/father do? Where does she/he work? 在教學中結合學生實際情況展開教學。
學情分析
本節課是小學英語五年級上冊的教學內容,本班學生的基礎知識掌握的還可以,但是對于以前學過的一部分句型已經遺忘了,本校五年級學生上課活躍,回答問題積極,對英語的學習的積極性較高,接受快。只有個別同學,基礎稍微差一點,但也非常的認真。
教學目標 (一)知識與技能
1. 讓學生掌握三會單詞或詞組 library, restaurant, company, manager。
2. 讓學生運用句型Is your father a postman? No, he isn’t. What does he do? He is a businessman. Where does your father work?與別人進行溝通交流。
(二)過程與方法:培養學生的語言運用能力和交際能力,能夠靈活運用所學句型進行問答。
(三)情感態度與價值觀:教育學生相互協助,積極與別人交流溝
通。
教學重難點
1. 學生掌握三會單詞或詞組 library, restaurant, company, manager。
2. 學生運用句型Is your father a postman? No, he isn’t. What does he do? He is a businessman. Where does your father work?與別人進行溝通交流。
突破方法:反復操練、對話練習,突破重點。 教法與學法
(一)情景導學法。和學生自由交談,讓學生愉快地適應上課,進入狀態。
(二)詞不離句、單詞與句子教學相結合每一個單詞或詞組出現后作相應的運用,以及替換練習,這是一種語言的內化和創造過程,使學生更易接受和理解單詞,并有利于單詞的運用以及接下來的課文教學。
(三)小組合作學習法對全班進行小組合作學習法。學生在獨立與合作的交織中調控了自身的學習,變得自信、自強。 教學準備
多媒體課件、相應的單詞卡片,圖片等。 教學過程: 一、Greeting and revision Free talk
T:I want to know something about your family .Do you want to tell me? Ss:Yes
Teacher asks two students: 1、How old are you ? 2、Where do you live ? 3、What class are you in? 4、What do your parents do?
5、Is you father /mother handsome /beautiful? 二、New words
1.教師和學生free talk 完之后說:Do you want to know something about my family?Ss:Yes
學習新單詞library ,restaurant manager company
教師用自己的全家福介紹家人的職業和工作地點(每介紹一個人物用一次聚光燈)共3次

T:No.Look,he works in a library .He is a librarian .教讀library. T:Where does my father work ?(指著father 問)
S2:He works in a library . T:Where does he work? S3:He works in a library .
T:Does your father work in a library ? S4:No./Yes .
讀完之后說:Library Library,My father works in a library. 用同樣的方法教restaurant ,manger 和company. 三.Learn the texts.
(一))導入email.出示PPT圖。 T: What is this ? Ss:電子郵件。
T:Yes,it is an email.We can use it make friends around the world。 2.出示一個電子郵件圖,講清楚to和from的含義。 T:Please look here! What is the meaning of “to”? What is the meaning of “from” ? T: Who is the email from ? Ss: The email is from Gao Wei . T:Who is the email to ? Ss: The email is to Amy. (二)學習第一篇課文。
T:Do you remember Amy and Gao Wei ? Ss: Yes .
T:They are our friends ,and Amy and Gao Wei are friends,too. Gao Wei wrote all email to Amy .Do you want to read? Ss: Yes . T: Yes .
(1)讓學生看第一封電子郵件,出示PPT圖。
T: Please open your books and look at Lesson 23.Look and listen then answer the following questions.
1.How many people are there in Gao Wei ’s family? 2.Who are they ?
(2) Read the email silently then complete the sentences. 1. Gao Wei is from ______________. 2. Gao Wei is ___________years old.
3. Gao Wei is in Class _________, Grade___________. 4. Gao Wei's mother is a ________ in a _________. 5. Gao Wei's father is a ________ in a ____________. (3)Listen and repeat.
