1.學生能夠運用以下的句型來自如地談論story time 板塊(第一課時)學到的四個中國節(jié)日:
Spring Festival, Double Ninth Festival,
Mid-autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival。

What do people eat at this festival? They eat…
2. 學生能夠理解Cartoon time并能有感情地朗讀或表演。
3. 學生能夠意識到父母在自己生命中的重要意義,學會感恩父母。
4. 在故事學習培養(yǎng)學生根據(jù)圖片和語境來猜測故事內容的能力。
3教學重點
1. 學生能夠運用所學的句型談論Spring Festival, Double Ninth Festival, Mid-autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival。
2. 學生能夠理解、有感情地朗讀Cartoon time,并從故事學習中感悟如何感恩父母。

1. 學生在故事學習中能通過圖片和上下文來猜測故事內容。

活動1【導入】Step1. Revision and lead in
1. Brain storm and quick response. (About festivals)
意圖:通過Brain story調動學生的已知,活躍氣氛;Quick response,全體學生參與復習所知道的節(jié)日。
2. Classify the festivals into Chinese festival and International festivals.
教給了學生關于節(jié)日的常識,同時順利過渡到Checkout time所涉及的四個中國節(jié)日。
活動2【活動】Step2. Checkout time
1. About Double Ninth Festival
1) Read and guess.
意圖:學生通過謎語復習了Double Ninth Festival的相關內容, 同時自然地引出談論三個節(jié)日的問題。
When is the … festival?
What do people do at this festival?
What do people eat at this festival?
2) Ss repeat the questions.
2. About Dragon Boat Festival
1) Students try to ask some questions about Dragon Boat Festival.
意圖:學生遷移剛學到的三個句型。
2) Make an information card according to the answers to the questions.
意圖:根據(jù)學生的回答整合出端午節(jié)的信息卡,以另一張信息卡的形式過渡到第三個要談論的節(jié)日:Mid-Autumn Festival.
3. About Mid-autumn Festival
1) Ask and answer in pairs.
意圖:前面兩個節(jié)日由老師引領進行談論,第三個節(jié)日放手讓學生做pair work進行交流,操練面涉及到全體學生。
2) Culture: Mid-autumn Festival is a holiday for family reunion.
意圖:學習談論節(jié)日是一方面,讓學生了解節(jié)日背后的文化也很重要。同時通過家庭團聚這一話題很自然地過渡到春節(jié),做到了無痕對接。
4. About Spring Festival
1) Ask and answer about the festival.
2) Say something more about it.
T: The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. Do you know why?
Because it means the beginning of a year. Before the Spring Festival, people often clean the house and buy new clothes.

意圖:春節(jié)的活動是豐富多彩的,讓學生基于生活經驗交流一下春節(jié)其他的活動,能豐富學生的語言,達學以致用的目的。
活動3【講授】Step3: Cartoon time

2. Cartoon time

意圖:引出故事主題,培養(yǎng)學生關注圖片的習慣。
2) Read and match
意圖:培養(yǎng)學生的讀圖能力。

Group work: 四人一小組,每人完成其中的一幅圖,完成后組內核對)
意圖:每人完成其中的一幅圖意在培養(yǎng)學生通過上下語境和圖片猜測故事內容的能力,培組內核對意在養(yǎng)學生通過小組合作提高自主學習的能力

活動4【活動】Step3: Consolidation
T: Father’s Day, Mother’s Day. There are many festivals. Do you know what my favourite festival is? Look. I show it on my Wechat. Let’s read it. So this is my favourite festival. What about yours?

意圖:讓孩子梳理本堂課的知識點以及自己內心的想法,寫一篇小作文。將學生的表達能力提升到筆頭。
