Ss: The Spring Festival comes in January or February. T show a calendar (讓學(xué)生清楚春節(jié)的月份,并導(dǎo)出Eve) D. Read and answer:(出示第二幅圖及文本)
Q:What do they do and eat on Chinese New Year’s Eve? Ss: They usually have a big dinner. They usually eat fish and dumplings.

In China,people always post red couplets on Chinese New Year's Eve. People like "luck" very much. They think red couplets can bring good luck.
People visit friends and relatives. They always say "Happy New Year" or "Guo Nian Hao". Children often get red packets with some money in them. Red packets can bring health and safety.
People always watch fireworks at night. They like the beautiful fireworks, because fireworks can drive away all bad things. a.
