一、教學內容：
《小學•英語•五年級上冊》Unit8 At Christmas 第一課時Story time
二、教學目標：
1. 能在教師的指導下進行自主互助式學習，通過略讀、尋讀等閱讀策略有步驟地閱讀和理解故事內容。
2. 能在故事情境中聽懂、會讀、會說以下詞匯：Christmas, presents, Christmas tree, Father Christmas, pretty, thing, Christmas Eve, stocking, wait for, turkey, pudding, have a good time。
3. 能初步運用buy, put等動詞及短語描述圣誕節的有關活動。
4. 能理解并按照時間的先后順序初步運用副詞：first, next, then, finally。
三、教學重點：
1. 能通過自主互助式學習方式和略讀、尋讀等閱讀策略理解故事內容。
2. 初步運用表示時間先后順序的副詞：first, next, then, finally。

T: First, read the paragraphs silently and choose the right
pictures, please.
2. Read and underline
(1) Read and underline
T: What do Mike’s family do at Christmas?
Please read the text loudly and underline the phrases about
their Christmas activities.

(2) Ask and answer
T: Next, you can ask and answer in your group. If you have the new
words you don’t understand, please ask for help in groups.

Ss learn the paragraphs step by step.

T: Mike and his family have a good time at Christmas. Let’s enjoy

六、教學反思：
本單元的主要話題是“圣誕節”。在備課的過程中，我對教材進行了一定的研究分析，根據學生的實際生活，設計了一系列的教學活動過程。除了運用本課所學的重點單詞以外，還引導學生進行延伸與拓展，同時讓學生自主創設情境，操練所學過的語言文化知識。現將我對這節課的整體思路闡述如下：
一、自由對話，導入新課。
在本節課中，我從Free Talk開始談起，通過guessing game學生詞,并且引出本課標題——Unit8 At Christmas,關于圣誕節的風俗習慣很多,我選擇了呈現“Mike未完成的Christmas的故事書”這個特色做為我本節課的切入點，引入本課新單詞的教學，且準備了一定的教學實物，通過展示各種實物的方法，讓學生從視覺上認識事物，體驗中學會說英語。
二、自主學習，充分合作。
英語作為一門語言，應體現它的交際功能，我一貫認為學生會應用英語是關鍵。所以我設計了“通過圖文匹配，了解故事梗概”，“通過閱讀劃線，了解故事細節”，“通過閱讀排序，把握故事片段間的聯系”，“通過欣賞故事，對比Mike和自己的故事書”這四個環節，并穿插設計了教師示范閱讀、學生自主閱讀、小組互助學習等活動。整節課不僅是學生建構故事的過程，也是學生理解故事的過程；不僅讓學生學到了書本知識，也充分體驗了外國節日的文化氛圍；不僅會運用文本，也會充分運用語言，拓展性地發表自己的見解、表達自己的感受。
三、創設情境，體驗文化。
本單元的主要話題是“圣誕節”，讓學生了解如何過圣誕節。學生在理解其意思上沒有太大的障礙，因此我覺得不僅要讓學生學會文本，更要讓學生以此為載體，充分體驗西方文化。一方面讓學生透過文本了解文化，一方面讓學生透過文本體驗文化，將生活體驗和文化知識緊密地聯系在一起。
