本單元的“網友”話題,綜合了以前學過的年齡,學科,和興趣愛好等話題,在教學中,教師可以鼓勵學生用學過的知識對自己的朋友或者網友進行綜合的介紹。本單元的story time 中談論的人物是一個英國男孩,教師可以在課前安排學生瀏覽網頁, 查閱有冠英國的一些概況,待課堂上和大家一起交流,分享。同時教師也要在課前準備以寫英語國家(如: 英國,美國,加拿大, 澳大利亞)的背景圖片,尤其是英國的圖片為主。根據學生的年齡特點,教師可以采用游戲的方式,讓學生在愉悅輕松的氛圍中掌握所學知識。

一、 能聽懂、會說、會讀、會寫句型:Does he/she „?及回答Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t.
二、 能聽懂、會說、會讀單詞:詞匯: e-friend, email, live,study,china, tomorrow, sit, by, UK, Austrialia, Canada, US
三、語音:字母w在單詞中的讀音。

Let’s play a game. Guess the countries.
教師通過多媒體呈現課前準備好的有關英語國家(如: 英國,美國,加拿大, 澳大利亞)的背景圖片,主要是標志性建筑,代表性動物等。讓學生來猜目標的國家單詞。
T: Look, these are kangroos. What country is it? S: It’s Austrialia.
T: Yes, it’s Austrialia.(講授Austrialia這個單詞)
T: These are maples.in autumn, the leaves turn red. It’s Canada(講授Canada這個單詞)

教師請學生呈現自己的來自美國的好朋友畫像, 然后教師嘗試詢問好朋友的情況。 T: Who is he ?

教師和學生師范, 引導學生work in pairs ask and answer。 Step 3 Story time Task 1: Watch and answer (1) What’s the boy’s name? (2) Where does he live?
(3) What does your friend like doing? Task 2 :Make a card
根據課文, 完成信息卡, 并要求同學試著用所學的知識, 詢問同學的朋友, 以了解朋友。達到鞏固句型的目的。
