Teaching procedures Part One Before Reading Step I. Warm- up
1、 Greetings and a game “ Sharp your eyes”
設計目的:通過師生問候和游戲消除陌生感,活躍課堂氣氛。
2、 Free talks “ What’s your favourite food?”
設計目的:在交流中操練上節課的重點句型并學習新詞,為下面的閱讀學習打基礎。
Part Two During Reading Step II Skimming
Listen to the tape for the first time and students tell the food words that mentioned in the notes.
設計目的:培養學生聽力,訓練學生在聽的過程中抓住關鍵詞的能力,為下面的閱讀做鋪墊。
Step III Scanning
Read the note by yourselves and answer the questions “1)What’s Yifan’s favourite food? Why? 2)What’s Yifan’s favourite vegetable? 3)What’s grandpa’s favourite food? Why?”
設計目的:通過學生自主閱讀培養學生快速抓住關鍵句子、獲取文章主要內容的能力。
Step IV Careful reading
1. Read the notes for the third time to find out the food that Yifan andgrandpa like and they don’t like. Then use the mind map to present them.
設計目的:培養學生通過仔細閱讀把握文章內容的能力,并引導學生用思維導圖形式表現出來,對學生的概括能力進行訓練。
2. Game time “ Make sentences”.
設計目的:用游戲的形式操練本課學習的難點句型“I like vegetables but
not carrots. I don’t like beef but chicken is ok.”,讓學生在玩中學,學中用。
3. Group work “How to write a note in English?”
設計目的:小組討論探究發現如何用英語書寫便條,引導學生團結協作、互相補充、動腦思考、學會學習。
Part Three After Reading Step V Read after the tape
設計目的:跟錄音讀課文不僅能讓學生模仿純正的語音語調,還能幫助學生在語境中記憶詞匯和表達。
Step VI Write a note in chain.
設計目的:通過學習便條到自己寫便條,學以致用。
Step VII Look at the picture and talk about it and eat healthy.
設計目的:看圖片討論,引導學生學會健康飲食。
Step III Homework
1、 Write a note to your mum and tell her what you want for dinner.
設計目的:學生自主選擇家庭作業,適應不同層次學生,同時也是對本課學習的實踐運用。
2、Draw a mind map in the other ways for the note.
