教學設計
一、教學目標: 1.語言知識目標
(1)學會單詞 happen, surprise, Mother’s Day,hear; (2)學會運用核心句子What are you doing? 和回答We're doing........描述正在發生的事情。
2.能力目標
培養學生用英語會話和小組合作學習的能力。 3.情感目標
讓學生了解母親節, 學會關愛身邊的人,學會感恩。 4.學習策略目標
由播放一些與課文提到的相關視頻來引出本課的內容,再通過一系列教輔手段來開展教學,為他們創造輕松自然的學習環境,充分調動學生學習的興趣和積極性,使其牢固掌握知識點,并能夠很好地理解運用,形成一系列語言技能,達到教學的目的。
二、教學重難點: 1.教學重點 (1)故事的認讀。
(2)運用句型What are you doing? We’re having party. What’s happening now?等進行時態描述場景。
2.教學難點:
(1)句子What’s happening?的理解。
(2)運用句子What you doing? We’re having party. What’s happening now?等進行時態描述場景。
三、教學準備 四、教學過程 Step 1: warm-up 1. Greeting
2.Do as I say.老師說動詞的現在進行式,學生做動作。動詞如下:Swimming, walking, playing the piano, listening to music, singing, dancing, playing football, playing the violin, jumping, running
3. Say a chant and do the actions with the teacher. 歌謠如下:
Walking, walking, walking, walking; Jump, jump, jump, jump, jump, jump; Running, running, running; Running, running, running; Now let’s stop. Now let’s stop. 【設計意圖】
以歌謠導入,旨在激發學生的學習興趣,復習與鞏固本
課的重點單詞,激活學生已有的知識儲備。在創設和諧愉快的課堂氣氛前提下,TPR的應用更加幫助學生直觀理解。
Step 2 Presentation
1.播放一段關于母親節的視頻。從視頻直接導入母親節這個主題。此環節師生對話如下:
T: What did they do in the video? S1: They…..
T: Why did they do these things? Ss: Because it’s Mother’s Day. T: Do you know when the Mother’s Day? S1:It’s in May. T: Which day?
S2:It’s on the second Sunday in May. T: Do you love your mother? Ss:Yes.
T:Sam, Amy and Tom are also love their mother. Ask more students.So today, they are having a party for their mothers.
之后,教師引入課題:Now today let’s learn “Module 5 Unit 1 We’re having a party”
【設計意圖】
本環節選用的視頻圖文并茂,可以激發學生的欣賞欲望,直觀的讓孩子們理解并掌握“Mother’s Day”。也通過視頻對學生進行了情感教育,知道了母愛的偉大,教育他們要關心母親和身邊人。
2.聽錄音,呈現本課的重點內容。
教師通過提出問題 “What is Amy/Sam/Tom doing?”,讓學生們帶著問題聽故事后回答,培養學生的聽說能力,讓學生從總體上感知課文梗概.本環節師生對話如下:
T: Let’s listen and find out: “What is Amy/Sam/Tom doing?”
T: Did you find the answers? Ss: yes.
T: What is Amy doing?
S2: Amy is playing the piano. T: Good. What is Tom doing? S3: Tom is singing.
T: Excellent! What is Sam doing? S4: Sam is playing the violin. T: Super! And what about the mothers? S5: Perfect! They are clapping.
The teacher teaches the new word “clap”,具體如下:
老師拍著手說:clap,clap,clapping;
They are clapping.
3.找規律
先讓孩子們觀察黑板上的動詞有什么相似之處,引出都在后面加了ing,之后在PPT上總結動詞ing形式,如下: 直接加ing:
Listen—listening read—reading play—playing Draw—drawing talk--talking walk--walking Sleep—sleeping eat—eating sing--singing 去e加ing:
Write--writing drance--dancing come--coming take—takeing ride—riding 雙寫最后一個字母加ing:
Swim--swimming run--running skip--skipping Clap--clapping shop--shopping
【設計意圖】
通過總結動詞ing形式的規律,著重讓學生認識到現在進行式的幾種變化規則,幫助他們進行歸類總結。
4. Listen and repeat.
在本環節,老師將對本課的新單詞hear,surprise和新句型what’s happening now?進行講解和操練,從而達到理解運用的目的。具體如下:
(1) Teach “what’s happening now?” 老師讓全
班同學一起重復后說,播放聲音讓學生猜測在干什么。然后通過PPT呈現給學生。
T: Do you understand “what’s happening now?” Now let’s listen, 播放聲音 T:What’s happening now? S6: The baby is crying.
猜測三組不同的聲音,讓學生認知、理解what’s happening now?
(2)Teach “hear” 老師小聲說句子,然后問Can you hear?,然后聲音逐漸放大,直到學生聽見。
(3)Teach “surprise”,
Ask the students to show the feeling of the word. 5.Say the chant. 自編歌謠如下:
What are you doing on Mother’s Day? We’re having a party on Mother’s Day. What’s happening on Mother’s Day? Amy is playing the piano on Mother’s Day. Tom is singing on Mother’s Day.
Sam is playing the violin on Mother’s Day. 6.Retell the story according to the blackboard design. 【設計意圖】
通過歌謠創編,讓學生用他們喜歡的方式把本節課的重點句子以歌謠的形式唱出來,能夠更好的理解并掌握。

T: So today, Amy, Sam and Tom are making a surprise party on Mother’s Day. Are their mothers’ happy?
Ss: Yes.
T: Do you want to give your mother a big surprise on Mother’s Day?
Ss: Yes.
T: What do you want to do? S7: I want to make a cake. S8: I want to…
T: OK, Now I’m a reporter.Listen,I'm Xiao Zhang from school TV. Today is Children's Day, now let's ask the children:
