本節課要求學生學能聽懂關于水的用途的,讀懂介紹水的用途的對話,了解怎樣詢問和介紹水的用途,用How do we use water?詢問水的用途,用We use water to…簡單介紹水的用途。 二.學情分析
五年級英語在小學英語教學中起著承上啟下的作用,既是四年級的衍生又是六年級的鋪墊。我們班學生思維活躍,表現欲望強烈,參與活動的熱情高。學生對圖片,動畫之類的教學資源較感興趣。雖然已有兩年的英語學習經驗,但是學生語法基礎比較薄弱。 三. 教學目標
1.知識目標:能在語境中正確運用本單元的核use,clothes, farmer,useful,up,shine,over,tree,ground,grow crops
2.能力目標:能用How do we use water?和We use
water to …就水的用途問答。
能用At home/work,we use water to…談談在不同的場所水的用途。
3.情感態度:了解水和人類的密切關系,意識到節約用水的重要性以及知道如何節約用水。能體會學習英語的樂趣,樂于說英語,用英語交流。
4.學習策略:培養學生合作意識,遇到問題主動向老師或同學請教,在課堂交流中,注意傾聽,積極思考,提高學習效率,增強學習效果。
5.文化意識:了解英語的語言表達,體會不同語言的魅力,促進心智發展。 四. 教學重點及難點 1. 教學重點:
詞匯use,clothes,farmer,useful,up,shine,over,tree, ground,grow crops,put out fires
句型:How do we use water?和We use water to wash
our hands. 2. 教學難點:句型We use water to wash our hands.中to 與動詞詞組搭配使用。 五.教學基本策略及設計思路
本課綜合運用講授式,啟發式,小組協作學習等策略, 聯系實際生活中的場景來教學。提供一定的學習資源,指導學生進行自主探索學習。通過教師講授,小組交流,練習等環節完成課文教學,引導學生學會“四會”單詞,短語,能用所學對話。利用課件作為工具,調動學生的積極性,培養學生對英語的學習興趣,提高學生的綜合語言運用能力。 六.教學過程

(1.)利用PPT出示Look and learn 的圖片,教授單詞,
并提問水的用途。
T:(show the picture for put out fires)Look at this picture.The fireman is using water to put out fires.Put out fires.
S:Put out fires.
T:What do farmers use water for?(show the picture for grow crops.)
S:They use water to grow crops.
(3.) 利用點讀機播放Listen and say 的第一部分,T設置
問題,Ss帶著問題完成聽力部分。 T:Where does water come from ? S1:It comes from the sea.
S2:It comes from the rain. S3:It comes from the tap too.
Step4.Extension and consolidation
(1.) 教師介紹潑水節的由來。
T:The Water Festival is an important festival of the Dai people.The festival lasts for three days.It takes place in South-east Asian countries such as in Burma,Cambodia,Laos, and Thailand, as well as Yunnan province, China.People splash or pour water at one another to show blessings and good wishes. (2.) Make the summary.
T:Children,now let’s do a summary. What have we learnt this class ? S1:Firemen use water to put out fires. S2:Farmers use water to grow crops. S3:We use water to wash our hands. (3.) Complete the sentences on page 75.
