Ⅰ. Textbook analysis
The grammar topic of the unit is the Past Participle(P.P.) as the Object Complement which plays an important part in daily study, but students can easily mistaken the usage among infinitive and present and past participle, even predicate. So leading students to learn to discover the rules of using the past participle as the object complement by the process of observing—practicing---summary---application in given materials is very important. The design of exercise is from words , sentences to the final passages. The best way of learning grammar is to study in the text..
Ⅱ. Student analysis
The content to Senior 2 students is new. They’ve just learned P.P. as attribute and
predicative, so they should be familiar with the P.P’s basic features. However, they may not know well of the object complement. Thus, attaching significance to the introduction to what is the object complement paves the way to the following study.

Step 1 Introduction and Lead-in —to introduce the topic Think:
What is the object complement?
What can be used as the object complement?

Picture 2. Everyone considers him clever.
Picture 3. Anne made her diary her best friend. 4. Tony found the light on all the night. 5. I find mom at work every time I call her.
6. I sincerely expect all of you to cooperate with me in this class actively. 7. Now when people refer to England you find Wales included as well. Observe: What is the relation between object and P.P. as the object complement? 8. I had my hair cut yesterday.
