一、整體設計思路:發明創造對初中生來講既神秘又有吸引力。本節課以發明為主題,通過
視頻、圖片、聽力材料等,讓學生了解歷史上的重大發明對人類生活的影響,從中獲取大量偉大發明的信息,激發學生參與討論的興致和進行發明創造的愿望。教師可以引導學生以小組活動的形式介紹他們認為最偉大的發明,創意設計網頁并在課堂展示。最后進行班級評選,對優勝者進行獎勵。
二、教材分析:本節課以”Great Inventions”為主線,通過一系列圖片、視頻、思維導圖等,
讓學生對重大發明在人類生活中影響的話題產生興趣,從而激發學生參與的熱情。本單元通過托尼和爸爸的對話很自然地導入一般將來時的被動語態,教師可以借助學生對數碼產品的興趣,引導學生分享自己在實際生活中對數碼產品的了解和應用,從而激發學生的學習興趣。 三、學情分析:九年級的學生經過了兩年多時間的學習,積累了一些英語語言知識,如單詞、
詞組、句型等,具備一定的聽、說、讀、寫的能力。而本班學生以中層為主,有一定英語的基礎,個性比較活躍。課堂上,學生基本能聽懂老師的指令,大部分學生能參與課堂活動,但學習的主動性與自覺性不足,不能大膽、大方地表達自己的想法。根據中學生的心理特點,教師需通過競賽、鼓勵等方式調動其參與課堂活動的積極性,引導學生積極參與同伴討論、小組競賽等課堂活動,完成本節課學習任務。 四、教學目標:
1、 語言知識:學習有關發明創造的的詞匯與句型; 2、 語言技能:
1) 能夠聽懂談論發明及其應用的對話;
2) 能夠談論已有的發明創造給人類生活帶來的變化;
3) 能夠口頭講述發明創造的發展,提出自己的意見,并與同學交流;
3、 情感態度:對現有的發明提出自己的意見,并與同學交流;教育學生在嘗試新科技
產品的同時,要尊重并保留中國的傳統文化產品。
4、 學習策略:能夠明確自己在小組活動中的責任和分工, 善于傾聽別人的意見,與
同學互相學習。
五、教學重難點:本節課學習的重點為有關發明創造的相關詞組、句型,難點是能根據已有
的知識,講述發明創造對人類生活帶來的變化。

Step One: Warming up
1. To make students get into the habit of reading. 2. As Grade Nine students, they should practice more passages besides words.
