教材內容分析:
本單元以Talking about consequences為主線,讓學生初步感受條件狀語從句所發生的各種情境;初步掌握條件狀語從句的句型與時態上的微妙差異。本節課為本單元的第4課時,主要以閱讀為主。因此,上好本節課需要對前面所學內容做一個整理也要為寫作學習奠定良好的語言基礎。 教學對象: 八年級學生 教學目標:
(一)知識目標
1.初步感受條件狀語從句在本課短文中的表達方式。 2.掌握條件狀語從句的用法,正確理解課文內容。 (二)能力目標
能準確運用If句型,恰當運用現在時來表示將來時可以用Should 句型來陳述自己的觀念。 (三)情感目標
本課時創設的情境為如何正確解決遇到的困難,學生應通過學習掌握如何解決生活中遇到的困惑的正確方法。 教學重難點:
教學重點:掌握和應用 if 引導的條件狀語從句。 教學難點:將所學應用于課堂,學會正確處理生活中的問題。 教學準備: Teaching book、cards、projector. 教學模式:SBS教學模式 Teaching procedure
I Happy beginning :
1.Sing a song <If you are happy >
raise their interests of learning English. (設計意圖:通過歡樂的歌曲激發孩子們對本課學習的熱情。也通過歌詞中重復出現的If條件狀語從句導入新課。)
II Revision
A:.Play a game :Queue here (連詞成句)
(設計意圖:通過學生拿單詞卡片連詞成句的游戲讓學生復習有關于條件狀語從句的句式結構。)
B: Free -talk
1. – what kind of things do you worry about? -- ______.
Review the key words and sentences of this unit . 2.T: If I am worry about something can you give me some advice ?
Ss say some advices .
(設計意圖:通過聊天的方式詢問學生在哪些方面有困惑讓學生學會表述自己的困惑。老師通過設計的一個問題讓學生給出建議,練習用should 句型來表達。)
III Presentation 1.fast reading
Look at the statements and then read the passage quickly. And answer the question :Which statement expresses the main idea of the passage?
Answer is :c. If people have problems, they should talk to other people.
(設計意圖:學生通過快速瀏覽課文選出概括短文大意
的陳述,讓學生學會泛讀。)
2.Careful Reading
Read Paragraph 1 and fill the blanks.
Students these days often have a lot of ________. Sometimes they have ______ with their schoolwork, and sometimes with their friends. What can they do _____ this? Practice
1.Play a game (開門大吉)
Let Ss choose the door and finish the tasks . The tasks are :
1. What is the worst thing to do if you have a problem?
2. Why didn't Laura want to tell her parents about her lost wallet?
3. What is the first thing you should do when you want to solve a problem?
4. Why can our parents give us good advice about our problems?
(設計意圖:每小組選擇一扇門并完成相應的任務。所羅列的問題是本課文的重點內容,設立了一個幸運兒若抽到此門該小組可以直接得分。通過游戲的方式在輕松愉悅的氛圍中檢查學生對本課知識的掌握情況。)
2.Share a saying with Ss.
It is best not to run away from our problems. We should always try to solve them.
Students often forget that their parents have more experience, and are always there to help them .
(設計意圖:與學生分享句子:如果你有困惑逃避是不行的,最好的辦法是與人交流而父母則能給你最好的建議。通過與學生分享這句話讓學生明白應該正確解決困惑并與父母多交流達到情感升華的目的。)
V Homework
1.Write a letter to your parents, teachers or friends to show your problems and ask for help.
2.Finish the exercise on Page 63. 3.Try to recite the par 2 .
