教學(xué)目標
1. 語言知識目標:
1) 能掌握以下單詞:percent,online, television,although, body,such as, mind,together, die, writer
2) 能掌握以下句型:

② The best way to … is ….
③ such as…
2. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標:
了解其他學(xué)生們的日常生活情況,讓學(xué)生們知道應(yīng)如何安排自己的日常生活,向其他有良好生活習(xí)慣的人們學(xué)習(xí),做一個有良好習(xí)慣的人。
2學(xué)情分析
同學(xué)們對于學(xué)生課余活動這一話題并不陌生,話題非常貼近學(xué)生生活,學(xué)生應(yīng)該有很高的熱情來閱讀。但調(diào)查報告這一文體應(yīng)引起學(xué)生的注意,學(xué)生在閱讀獲取文章信息的同時還要關(guān)注文章結(jié)構(gòu),以及閱讀此類文章應(yīng)采用的閱讀策略。

1. 教學(xué)重點:
1) 掌握本課時出現(xiàn)的生詞及表達方式。
2)閱讀短文,獲得相關(guān)信息,提高學(xué)生們的綜合閱讀能力。

活動1【講授】unit2 sectionB 2a-2e
Work on 2a:
1. Let Ss discuss the activities with their classmates and rank these activities according to how often you think your classmates do them.
2. Let some Ss tell their answers.
Ⅵ. Reading
1. T: Here are the results of what the students in No. 5 High School do in their free time. Read the passage quickly and find the answers to the two questions:
1) How many kinds of free time activities are mentioned in the passage?

2) What is the best way to relax? _________________________________
2. Read the passage carefully and complete the pie chart below.
Ss read the passage and try to fill in the pie chart. Then check the answers together.
Ⅶ. Work on 2c
1. T: Now let’s read through the five questions. Make sure the Ss know the meaning of the questions. Then let Ss read the passage again and try to find the answers to the questions.
2. 方法指導(dǎo):首先,應(yīng)讀懂五個題目的意思;然后,認真帶著問題去閱讀短文。在短文中找到相關(guān)問題的回答依據(jù),并回答上每個問題。最后,檢查一下自己的回答是否正確。
3. Ss read carefully and try to find the answers to the questions.
4. Check the answers with the class.

Work on 2d:
1. T: Now let’s make some sentences with the percentages using always, usually or sometimes.
2. 方法指導(dǎo):首先,明確always, usually及sometimes所代表的百分比數(shù)值;然后,看再看每個百分比數(shù)在短文中相關(guān)的活動;最后,造出恰當?shù)木渥印?br />
3. Ss read the passage again and try to make some new sentences. Check the answers with each others.
Ⅸ. Language points
1. We found that only fifteen percent of our students exercise every day.
percent 名詞,意為“百分之……”
e.g. 我們班里80%的學(xué)生每天都鍛煉。
Eighty percent of the students in our class exercise every day.
【注意】
percent做主語時,謂語動詞的數(shù)要根據(jù)其后面的名詞來確定。
e.g. Fifty percent of the apples are bad.
50%的蘋果都壞了。
Twenty percent of the meat is in the fridge.
20%的肉都在冰箱。
2. And twenty percent do not exercise at all!
not … at all意為“一點也不”,not應(yīng)和be動詞、助動詞或情態(tài)動詞連用。
e.g. The story isn’t interesting at all. 那個故事一點也沒有趣。
They didn’t enjoy the vacation at all. 他們根本不喜歡那次度假。
The old man can’t use the computer at all. 那位老人一點也不會用電腦。
3. Although many students like to watch sports, game shows are the most popular.
although 連詞,“盡管,雖然;即使”
e.g. 盡管天氣很冷,但是我們還是去釣魚了。
We went fishing although it was cold.
注意:although引導(dǎo)的從句不能與but連用,有although就沒有but。
e.g. 盡管他離家很早,但是他還是遲到了。
Although he left home early, he was late.
【運用】
My cousin knows a lot about geography, ______ he is only four years old.
A. because
B. so
C. although
4. …but we think the best way to relax is through exercise.
through 介詞, “以,憑借”
e.g. 他通過報紙上的一個廣告找到這份工作。
He found the job through an advertisement in the newspaper.
[拓展]
through還有“穿過”之意。表示“從……內(nèi)部穿過”。
e.g. 昨天他們穿過了森林。
They went through the forest yesterday.
5. Exercise such as playing sports is fun…
such as“像……這樣”,表示列舉。
結(jié)構(gòu)常為:名詞+such as+ 例子
e.g. 她喜歡像兔子、小鳥這樣的小動物。
She likes animals such as rabbits and birds.
6. Old habits die hard. 舊習(xí)難改。
諺語,表示習(xí)慣一旦養(yǎng)成,并非朝夕即可改變,多用來描述人們一時難以改變的固有觀念及做法。
e.g. It’s the age of new technology, but my grandpa still goes everywhere with his old radio. Old habits die hard, you see.
現(xiàn)在都已經(jīng)是新技術(shù)時代了,可我爺爺仍然到哪兒都帶著他的收音機。你瞧,老習(xí)慣可真難改呀。
7. So start exercising before it’s too late!
it’s too late 為時太晚;來不及了
e.g. 現(xiàn)在你知道你錯了,但是已經(jīng)太晚了。
Now you know you’re wrong, but it’s too late.
it’s too late與before共同組成從句,表示“不要等到為時已晚;不要等到來不及
的時候;趁著還來得及 ”。
e.g. 你應(yīng)當更加用功,別等到為時過晚而趕不上了。
You should work harder before it’s too late to catch up.
Ⅹ. Work on 2e:
1. Let Ss read through the activities in the chart first. Select one activity from them. Then ask their classmates how often they do this activity and make a pie chart.
2. Ss work in groups. Ask and answer questions then fill in the chart.
3. Make a pie chart like those in 2b.
4. Then try to make a short report like the report in 2b.
Work on 2a:
